The Hubei Provincial Health Planning Commission decided to carry out a pilot project to improve the comprehensive two-child supporting policy in Xianning City and Xiaonan District of Xiaogan City. On the basis of the pilot, it will be gradually promoted and implemented in the whole province. In accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Health Planning Commission, Xiaonan District issued the "Pilot Work Plan for Improving Comprehensive Provincial Supporting Policies for Two Children in Xiaonan District" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").
Meet the conditions for giving birth to two children and re-giving, as stipulated in the Regulations on Population and Family Planning of Hubei Province, and have pregnant and childbearing objects with two children or more in Xiaonan District.
The pilot project to improve the comprehensive two-child supporting policy in Xiaonan District includes ten parts, namely, strengthening reproductive health services, purchasing maternal and child safety insurance, subsidizing maternity funds, formulating measures to extend maternity care holidays, providing infant care services, promoting the construction of maternal and child facilities, building child care service places, giving infant care subsidies, ensuring the employment rights and interests of pregnant women, and increasing housing security.
