Xin said that energy vehicles are the main direction of the transformation and upgrading of the global automobile industry. Developing new energy vehicles has become a common choice for all countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, meet the challenge of climate change and improve the global ecological environment. In recent years, following the changing trend of the automobile industry, China has promoted technological innovation as a whole, strengthened the application of consumer guide, issued a series of policies to support industrial development and infrastructure construction, made some breakthroughs in core key areas such as batteries, motors and electronic control, and basically formed a positive vehicle R&D system.
From June to August this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 3.97 million and 3.86 million respectively, with a market share of 22.9%, exceeding our expectations. These achievements have injected a strong impetus into the development of new energy vehicles around the world.
Of course, we must also see that new energy vehicles have now become a tuyere industry, attracting a lot of technology and capital to this industry, and some local governments also have the desire to transform and upgrade. Under the comprehensive effect of various factors, some provinces, cities and places do have the phenomenon of blind investment and repeated construction. But we believe that these problems are developing, and with the growth and maturity of the industry, these problems will be gradually digested and solved.
Of course, at present, the development of new energy automobile industry is still facing new tasks such as strengthening the coordination of policies and regulations, accelerating the construction of supporting infrastructure, and strengthening the protection of personal information and important data, which need to be solved in the future.
In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will implement the State Council's decision-making and deployment, carry out the new energy automobile industry development plan (202 1-2035) in depth, further strengthen the overall planning and layout, and take more effective measures to promote the high-quality development of the new energy automobile industry. The first is to strengthen overall coordination. Promote the establishment of a new mechanism for industrial development coordination, adhere to the organic combination of effective market and government, implement all work, give full play to the joint efforts of all parties, improve support policies, promote cross-industry and cross-disciplinary integration and innovation, and thoroughly study and solve related problems.
The second is to optimize the supporting environment. It is necessary to continue to support key technological innovation breakthroughs, speed up infrastructure construction such as charging and replacing electricity and vehicle-road coordination, enhance the support capacity of key resources, optimize the "double-integral" management mode of new energy vehicles, and create a better industrial development environment.
The third is to further improve the supervision method. It is necessary to further refine regulations and management requirements, constantly improve the standard system, and strengthen the supervision of network security and data security. Without industrial security, there will be no industrial development, and these problems should be solved well. At the same time, we also need to support the intelligent networked car access pilot. We have made overall arrangements to promote the further development of this industry and reach a new level.
