Lincang has a physical education undergraduate course. Yunnan West Normal University of Science and Technology is the only undergraduate college in Lincang, which has a physical education college. The school covers an area of 1.084 mu, with a total construction area of 256,000 square meters. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is nearly 654.38 billion yuan. There are 867,000 paper books, 2 1 10,000 e-books, 290 experimental training places on campus and 233 off-campus practice training bases. There are 14 secondary colleges, including Marxism College, Art College, Asian Microfilm College, Aviation and Rail Transit College, Management and Economics College, Political Law and Public Administration College, Foreign Languages College, Teacher Education College, Mathematics and Science College, Biotechnology and Engineering College, Intelligence and Information Engineering College, Art College, Physical Education College and Continuing Education College. There are 33 undergraduate majors and 65 specialist majors, with students from Yunnan, Shandong, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi and other 17 provinces (cities, districts). There are also international students from Europe, America, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa. At present, the school is the first institution in Yunnan Province to offer two emerging majors: UAV system engineering and new media art.
