Jiangbei New District, located in the north of Nanjing Yangtze River, is a national new district in China. It consists of Pukou District, Liuhe District and Baguazhou Street in Qixia District. It is the strategic fulcrum of East China facing the inland hinterland, with convenient roads, railways, waterways and aviation hubs. It is an important intersection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the eastern coastal economic belt, a comprehensive gateway for the Yangtze River Delta to radiate the central and western regions, and an important area connecting the central and western regions in northern Nanjing.
Jiangbei New District is located at the T-shaped intersection of the eastern coastal economic belt of China and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It is the core area of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration in the east, the Wanjiang urban belt in the west and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River golden waterway and the beijing-shanghai railway artery meet here, running through the north and south, and connecting the Yangtze River to the sea.
