During the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty liked Confucianism very much, and named Zhao Wan as an ancient bachelor and Wang Zang as a doctor. Both Zhao and Wang recommended their teachers to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent messengers to invite him in with the gift of riding a wheel, appointed him as Dr. Taizhong, sealed the official residence of King Lu to him, and often asked him for advice on how to govern the country.
