The Graduate School of East China University of Science and Technology is located in Xuhui Campus, Meilong Road 130, Shanghai. East China University of Science and Technology was originally named East China Institute of Chemical Technology. 1952 is the first of its kind in new China, which was formed by merging the chemistry departments of Jiaotong University (Shanghai), Aurora University (Shanghai), Datong University (Shanghai), Soochow University (Suzhou) and Jiangnan University (Wuxi).
