Beijing Yahuan Audio & Video Production Co., Ltd. "630 Theater"

199910/0. On October 30th, the "630 Theater" jointly operated by TV media (National Cable TV Cooperative) and production company (Yahuan Audio & Video Production Co., Ltd.) will be held from 18: 00 to 19: 00.

Since its launch, 630 Theater has produced sitcoms such as China Restaurant, Looking Up but Seeing Down, Law Firm, Happy Street, Sister Ma and Diary of a Networm.

"Idle Man Ma Dajie" takes the civilian life of a laid-off female worker Ma Dajie (Cai Ming) as the material, adds comedy factors to parents' trivia, and understands life with a relaxed and humorous attitude. This also made "Idle Ma Dajie" get a lot of "repeat customers".

From August 18, 2000, "630 Theater" presented China's first real soap opera "Happiness Street" every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. The play was born out of the soap opera coronation street, which has been broadcast in Britain for 40 years. It is based on the virtual life community on TV, Happiness Street, which shows all kinds of characters and lives and continues endless stories. Based on the successful experience of foreign soap operas, how to "localize" it according to the national conditions of China, the living conditions of ordinary people in China and the viewing habits of China audiences is the key to whether Happiness Street can be accepted by the audience. At the beginning of the broadcast, the ratings of Happiness Street were once low, which was in sharp contrast with the sequel of Idle Sister Ma, which was broadcast from Monday to Thursday in the same period. However, since 200 1, the ratings of Happiness Street in 24 cities across the country have generally continued to rise. In the first five weeks, the average ratings in Beijing were 5.2%, while in Shanghai, the ratings of Happiness Street have surpassed the sequel of idle sister Ma for four consecutive weeks, with the highest ratings reaching 5.7%.

Since July, 2000, 630 Theater has made bold attempts in the production and broadcasting methods of the sequels of Sister Ma and Happy Street: scriptwriting, shooting, broadcasting and feedback. For sitcoms and soap operas that require long-term stable broadcast, this production mode is an inevitable choice, and its advantages have already appeared. The success of the sequel to Idle Man Ma Dajie is greater than that of the original, largely because of the establishment of the film broadcasting mode, which makes the producers skillfully integrate hot topics and even news events into the plot on the basis of drawing lessons from the audience's suggestions. For example, the news of saving lives bravely was put on the screen as soon as it was broadcast. The story during the Olympic Games made full use of the Olympic theme, making the sequel of Sister Idle People closer to real life, and "timeliness" became a "selling point" to attract audiences. For Happy Street, which is exploring a new TV drama style and cultivating the audience's appreciation habits, the screenwriter can adjust the plot direction according to the information feedback from the survey, decide the fate of the characters, and make Happy Street more in line with the audience's interests and form a virtuous circle. This interaction between the plot and the audience's "taste" is an important guarantee for soap operas to stay with the audience for a long time.

Of course, this mode of TV drama production requires high production management. Happiness Street has adopted a unified industrialized production line process from the embryonic form of the story to the final script. More than twenty screenwriters formed a creative group, and the special edition grasped the general trend of the story and the style orientation of the play. Yahuan Company invested to set up a shooting base in the suburbs of Beijing. The base has not only built a "real" "Happiness Street", but also two studios, as well as various supporting facilities such as prop library, scene production workshop, post-production machine room, recording machine room, dressing room and clothing room. There are also dormitories and restaurants serving the cast members in the base, which provide a good living guarantee for the cast members who have been filming in the base for a long time. It can be said that happiness and so on. It not only trained the first audience for China's soap operas, but also trained the first writers, directors, actors and production teams to accumulate experience for the new production management model.
