As for English, in fact, no matter what you do in today's society, English is essential. You are still young, and your grades don't count now. As long as you set yourself a goal and keep moving towards that goal, you will succeed one day.
Speaking of psychology, I don't know much about the mainland, but in Hong Kong, it's a promising and hard job. Hong Kong people live a fast-paced and stressful life, and there are countless people suffering from mental illness. However, there are only a few dozen psychologists in Hong Kong (if I remember correctly). Because there are many patients, I often travel around Hong Kong to treat patients, but the time for treating each patient is short (because there are too many patients, I don't care about everyone) and the fees are expensive. If you come from psychology in Hong Kong, this job is still very promising. I don't know about the mainland, but it has a large population and many talents. I believe this job is more competitive. Nevertheless, as long as you are really interested in psychology, it doesn't matter, as long as you work hard towards this goal. By the way, think carefully before you go. After all, this is related to your future life and career. Do you want to learn psychology because you really like psychology from the bottom of your heart? If you are just curious or think it is easy to make money, you should think clearly, because psychology is not a game of mind reading, and it is not necessarily as interesting as you think. Maybe a few thick books are full of incredible theorems, and it is difficult to persist without interest. All in all, think twice before you act, and be sure.
