Railway 12306 is the official mobile phone ticketing application software launched by China Railway Customer Service Center. It shares user, order, ticket amount and other information with the official website of train tickets, and uses unified ticketing business rules. The software has the functions of air ticket reservation, online payment, change, refund, order inquiry, common contact management, personal data modification, password modification and so on.
It was officially put into trial operation on February 8, 20 13. On February 24th, 2020, China Railway 12306APP officially launched time tickets.
Railway 12306 new media service platform is the authoritative channel for China Railway Corporation to publish railway information on the mobile Internet, and it is a new entrance to serve the public.
Main functions of 12306
Railway 12306 not only provides ticket purchase and ticket inquiry functions, but also adds three menu functions of railway information, self-service and platform alliance. Railway information release timely and authoritative news and passenger and freight transport notice announcement; Self-service provides the public with the most commonly used passenger self-service inquiry service. The platform alliance has opened the entrance to other new media service channels of the railway head office.
One-click direct access to China Railway Man, Xinhua, Sina and Tencent official Weibo, and 18 official new media channels of the State Railway Administration. Railway 12306 focuses on providing passenger and freight transportation information inquiry service. According to the system prompts, citizens can inquire about the remaining tickets, trains, pre-sale period, sales outlets, logistics services, freight business premises and other information by inputting characters or voices.
