Etiology of TIC disorder:
1, genetic factors, related research shows that if the close relatives of patients have a history of Tourette's disease, then the probability of future generations suffering from Tourette's disease will be very high.
2. Environmental factors are also one of the main causes of Tourette's syndrome. For example, both stress and stimulation may induce an individual to have Tourette's disease.
3, drugs or brain factors can also cause TIC disorder, and children who have been taking antipsychotic drugs may cause TIC symptoms in children. In addition, if the child's brain is abnormal, excessive metabolism of bilateral basal ganglia and frontal cortex may also lead to TIC disorder.
4. Physiological factors are also important factors leading to Tourette's syndrome, mainly the abnormal secretion of neurochemicals in children's own bodies, which leads to the occurrence of Tourette's syndrome in children, including dopamine hyperactivity, norepinephrine dysfunction, abnormal interaction between glutamate and dopamine system, etc.
