Chongqing Hechuan Middle School is the oldest key middle school in Chongqing, and its predecessor is Zonghe Academy. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (153 1), it was built to commemorate Zhou Dunyi, a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty more than 400 years ago. In the 30th year of Guangxu reign (1904), the Qing government implemented the New Deal, and renamed Zonghe Academy as Hezhou Middle School, and later as Hechuan Middle School. Hechuan Middle School is the largest single-point school among key middle schools in Chongqing. The school covers an area of over 300 mu with a building area of over 90,000 square meters. Existing classes 13 1 person, including 89 senior high schools, 42 junior high schools and 526 teaching staff, including 2 researchers, 2 special-grade teachers, 4 senior teachers1person, 9 backbone teachers in Chongqing1person, and backbone teachers in Hechuan district.
