Ningbo Temple responded to feed the one-armed monkey: What's the story behind the fate of the temple?
The story behind it is this: Many years ago, this one-armed monkey was pinched off because it accidentally ran into a boar trap set by a hunter. The monkey was later captured by hunters and sold to villagers at the foot of the mountain. But because it loves fruits and peanuts so much, the villagers can't afford to keep the monkey, so they choose to release it. Later, the monkey came to Yanghu Temple in Ningbo, was adopted by a teacher in the temple, and named him Xing Xing. Now Xing Xing has lived in a temple for more than ten years.
