Research Status of Chengdu Document Information Center of China Academy of Sciences

Education and Training: It has the only master's degree training center in information science in the southwest of the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences, the only master's degree training center in library science in the west of China, which is built in cooperation with Sichuan University, and the most perfect discipline structure system for training senior talents in library and information science in the west of China.

Subject direction: literature information guarantee and service based on computer broadband network, information consulting service system for scientific research development and economic construction, digital library. Main research fields: basic theory of literature information, information resource construction, information retrieval and investigation and analysis, information consultation and information research, modern information management technology, theory and practice of digital library, user relationship management of literature information, knowledge management and network economy.

Research projects: National Science Digital Library project: global library information resource portal, natural medicine information portal, distributed reference service, joint catalog database, and establishment of library information ontology specification; Research on the development trend of world science and technology; Research and application of Panzhihua Science and Technology Information Data Center: the project "Light of the West", the influence of Tibetan culture and customs on the sustainable development of Kangba area, the national project "Tibetan medicine informatization construction" and the provincial and ministerial projects "Chinese medicine modernization information platform" and "patent information platform".

Academic journals: world scientific and technological research and development, natural product research and development. The former won the Outstanding Journal Award of China Academy of Sciences and was subscribed by more than 400 academicians of the two academies. The latter won the Sichuan Excellent Journal Award, and the inclusion rate in American Chemical Abstracts reached over 90%. Both journals are the Statistical Source Journal of China Sci-tech Papers (China Sci-tech Core Journals), the core database of Chinese scientific citation database and the comprehensive evaluation database of Chinese academic journals.

Exchange and cooperation: We have established international academic exchange relations with the literature intelligence agencies or organizations of the United States, Britain, Germany, Thailand, Russia and other countries, and are members of OCLC. Responsible for the management of China Academy of Sciences Southwest Document Information Cooperation Network and Chengdu Document Information Cooperation Network, and have close cooperation with other document information institutions in the hospital. Have extensive exchanges with public institutions, universities and professional literature and information institutions in Southwest China.
