Since its establishment, our college has been aiming at cultivating artistic skilled talents who meet the market demand and have comprehensive knowledge. It is famous for its unique school-running and has made remarkable achievements. In 2007, our college opened the only music major in the province. Our college has been trying to establish a flexible and open continuing education system in the field of diversified art education to adapt to the development of modern society. 20 10 Xiamen Vocational College for Performing Arts was established in our college, and the correspondence education for junior college students was established in cooperation with Jimei University and Jilin Art College. 20 1 1 Approved by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Fujian Provincial Education Department, Fujian Correspondence Station of Beijing Dance Academy was listed in our college. At present, the undergraduate course has six major directions: choreography, dance performance, music direction, international standard dance direction, dance beauty design and enterprise management. In order to meet the needs of social candidates, the College of Continuing Education and Beijing Dance Academy have also established a cooperative mode of starting from high school and going straight to undergraduate. In addition, it has also established a grading examination base for children's dance with the Chinese Dancers Association and the Provincial Dancers Association. In recent years, it has trained more than 3,000 people every year to serve the society, and trained a large number of high-quality dance teachers with China Dance Examination Certificate. In order to implement the spirit of the State Council and the Ministry of Education on accelerating the development of modern vocational education, deepen the integration of production and learning, and strengthen school-enterprise cooperation in educating people. Our college attaches great importance to cultural and artistic exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan.
