As the only international airport in Guanzhong urban agglomeration, Xianyang International Airport is an important gateway airport in China, the largest integrated air transport hub in northwest China, the eighth largest airport in Chinese mainland, the third largest airport in central and western China (passenger throughput is 20 15) and the fifth largest airport (region) in China. It was rated as a four-star airport in the world by Skytrax, but tied for the highest comprehensive rating in the mainland with Beijing Capital, Shanghai Hongqiao, Haikou Meilan, Sanya Phoenix and Yichang Three Gorges.
Airport scale
Xi Xianyang International Airport has a design capacity of 654.38 million flights per year, 50 million passengers per year, 500,000 tons of cargo and mail, and 32 flights during peak hours. As of 2008, the annual passenger throughput of Xi Xianyang International Airport has exceeded 1. 1.8 million, ranking eighth among all civil aviation airports in China. In 2009, the airport passenger throughput reached15.29 million passengers. 20 10 reached 180 10000 person-times. 20 1 1 year, the airport passenger throughput has exceeded 20 million passengers. In 20 12 years, the airport passenger throughput reached 23.42 million passengers. In 20 14 years, the airport passenger throughput reached 29.2602 million passengers. 2015165438+1at 9: 35 am on October 27th, MU2335 in Shanghai arrived in An. Mr. Zhang, who took the flight, was fortunate to be the 30th passenger of Xianyang International Airport this year. So far, Xi Xianyang International Airport has become the eighth airport in China with an annual passenger throughput exceeding 30 million passengers.
development planning
In April 2007, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the establishment of the second phase expansion project of Xi Xianyang Airport. In February 2009, the feasibility study report of the project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. After preliminary work such as land requisition and demolition, cultural relics exploration and environmental impact assessment, the second phase expansion project of Xi Xianyang International Airport started in March 2009. The total investment of the project is 1039 1 100 million yuan. A second runway with a length of 3,800 meters and a width of 60 meters and a parallel taxiway will be built on the south side of the existing runway, so that the flight area will reach the 4F standard and it can take off and land super-large intercontinental aircraft such as A380. The newly-built Terminal 3 covers an area of 253,000 square meters, which is four times that of the existing terminal. Upon completion, the newly-built Terminal 3 will be integrated with the existing 1 and Terminal 2, and the car ferry will shuttle between them, which will facilitate the transfer of passengers and realize the integrated transportation between the terminals. The second phase expansion project is planned to be put into use on 20 12, and the design target year is 2020. The design meets the annual passenger throughput of 3 1 10,000 passengers, 96 16 passengers in peak hours, 250,000 aircraft take-off and landing, 72 flights in peak hours, and the annual mail throughput of 400,000 tons. By then, there will be 30 new airplane seats, 3 cargo planes, a new parking lot/kloc-0.9 million square meters, a warehouse of 24,500 square meters and an aviation catering center of 32,000 square meters. Other projects, such as fire fighting projects in the flight area and public facilities in the field, will be built and expanded to varying degrees. The new airport will be directly connected with a number of expressway, and it will also be connected with urban underground rail transit in the long-term planning. By then, people will drive or take the subway from the city to the airport, which takes only about 20 minutes by car.
T3 Terminal consists of 260,000 square meters of T3A and 280,000 square meters of T3B. T3B will be implemented for a long time. T3A and T3B will become the central commercial transportation core of airport cities.
Ancient cities had a very important function, which was defense. Because of the protection of the city wall, people in the city can trade freely. Terminal 3 and the landside center of the airport city are just surrounded by the empty waiting corridor wall, forming a city center that can be traded freely. The waiting corridor area outside the wall is an isolated area that needs security inspection. Therefore, the layout of Jiugongge Ancient City is adopted in the core plane of central commercial traffic, which continues the traditional spirit of China. The T3A plane of the first phase of the terminal building forms a "Jue" shape, and the T3B plane of the second phase forms a "D" shape, and the overall layout is axisymmetric. All these reflect the integration of high-tech and modern design with the history and culture of Xi, as well as the humanity, solemnity, atmosphere and harmony of the airport portal. T3A Terminal, which covers an area of 260,000 square meters, has three main functional floors, namely, departure floor, arrival floor and baggage handling floor. For the convenience of passengers, the second floor of the main building is the departure floor, the southeast side is for international departure, and the other parts are for domestic departure. In this way, the operation of the domestic part can be connected with the north 1 and No.2 buildings, thus improving the flexibility and effectiveness of the operation.
In the future, the airport express line will be connected from the west, and ground traffic can reach T3A terminal from east to west. Therefore, seven groups of island ticket counters arranged along the east-west direction were adopted on the departure floor, which made all the departure halls open, forming a unique effect of facing both Xi and Xianyang.
Green energy saving is a comprehensive challenge faced by large terminal buildings. Because the facade of the main building is very long, if we simply reduce the height of the main building to reduce the indoor volume and energy consumption, the proportion of the building will be out of balance and the role of the city portal symbol will not be reflected. On the other hand, in order to reflect the grandeur of the city portal, several of the largest airports in China have adopted curved roofs with high middle, but they are highly functional and useless, which greatly increases the energy consumption of indoor space.
Xi Xianyang International Airport will aim at building "the most influential international hub in the Silk Road Economic Belt and a national-level large-scale aviation hub in the western region", and strive to promote the airport to realize three transformations, namely, from a regional hub to an international hub, from an aviation hub to a comprehensive hub, and from a traditional airport to a smart airport.
On the basis of constantly improving the domestic route network, we will focus on strengthening the expansion of the international route network in accordance with the goal of "Silk Road through, Europe and Asia encryption, US-Australia connection and freight breakthrough". We will strive to reach 380,000 flights, 50 million passengers and 300,000 tons of cargo and mail by the end of the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan, with an average annual increase of 7.4%, 8.8% and 7.4% respectively, and 5 million international (regional) passengers, with an average annual increase of 25%, ranking among the top 40 in the world.
In the future, Xianyang Airport will be built into an international super-large comprehensive transportation hub with 654.38 billion passengers, five runways, two main and auxiliary terminal areas, seamless connection with highway, railway and intercity transportation, and a core and supporting functional area of 50 square kilometers.
