Is cranberry a cherry?
Cranberry, also known as cranberry and cranberry, is the common name of subgenus Rubus (scientific name: Oxycoccos) of Vaccinium in Ericaceae. This subgenus is an evergreen shrub, which mainly grows in acid peat soil in the cool zone of the northern hemisphere. The flowers are dark pink and have racemes. Red berries can be eaten as fruit. At present, it is widely planted in parts of North America. Cherry is a transliteration of the English word cherry, which is literally translated as "cherry" in Taiwan Province, Guangdong and Hongkong. But it doesn't refer to a kind of China cherry with small color and thin red skin, but refers to the imported cherry with thick skin produced in American countries such as the United States, Canada and Chile. At present, cherry fruit trees have been introduced into China, but they have not yet formed a scale.
