1. First, you need to connect the telecom optical cat, wireless router and computer with a network cable. The correct connection method is:
(1) Connect the network port (LAN port) on the telecom optical cat to the WAN port (Internet port) of the router with a network cable.
(2) Connect your home computer to any LAN interface in the router with a network cable.
2, set the computer ip address:
(1) Open the control panel.
(2) Select the network and the * * * enjoyment center.
(3) Select to change the adapter settings.
(4) Select Ethernet (Local Area Connection) and right-click.
(5) Click Properties.
(6) Double-click the ipv4 protocol.
(7) Enter the corresponding information and click OK.
In order to set up the router smoothly, it is suggested that the ip address of the computer be set to: automatic acquisition.
3. Set up a router to access the Internet
(1) There is a sticker on the bottom of the router. In this tab, it is recommended to check the management address (login address) of your router.
(2) In the browser of the computer, enter the management address checked in the previous step, open the router setting page, and then operate according to the prompt information in the page.
(3) The router will automatically detect your broadband Internet access mode, wait for a few seconds, and set the Internet access parameters according to the detection results.
Note: If PPPoE dialing is detected, you will be prompted to fill in your broadband account (Internet user name) and broadband password (Internet password).
If the system detects that the Internet access mode is dynamic ip Internet access (automatically obtaining IP address), the page for setting Internet access parameters will not appear, and it will directly jump to the interface for setting WiFi name and password.
4. Then set your router's WiFi name and WiFi password (wireless name, wireless password).
5. According to the page prompts, set the management password of the router.
6. Finally, according to the prompt information on the router setup page, complete the router setup.
