Some problems about flying pigeon book-passing software

Completely real solution:

If your flying pigeon can't find anyone else, or can't send files, please check them in turn:

1. Maybe all the hosts that need communication are not installed, or all the flying pigeons are not started (don't laugh, there is such a situation).

2. Maybe firewall software prohibits flying pigeons from surfing the Internet;

3. The firewall built in 3.XP system may prevent flying pigeons from accessing the network;

Inspection method:

Control Panel-Network Connection-Local Connection-Properties-Advanced-Settings,

You can choose to turn off the firewall, or add a program for flying pigeons to pass books in the "exception";

If you want to add an open port, please add port 2425 for TCP and UDP respectively;

4. Maybe the hosts are not in the same network segment, please check with the ping command;

5. Perhaps because of the dual network card (IP), the network card (IP) bound by Flying Pigeon by default is not in the same network segment as the other party; The command format for binding flying pigeons to the specified network card (IP) is ipmsg.exe[ port]/IP address of the network card.

By the way, add the method of setting commands on shortcuts (including binding specified IP, specifying running port, etc.). ):

After installing flying pigeons, there will be shortcuts to flying pigeons on the desktop and in the startup menu. Right-click the flying pigeon shortcut and select Properties. You will see tabs such as General, Shortcuts and Compatibility. Select the shortcut, and the installation path of flying pigeon program will appear in the "Target" item, for example:

" C:/Program Files/IPMsg/IPMsg . exe "

Please leave a space after the path before adding the corresponding parameters;

To set the running port of flying pigeon to 12345; otherwise:

" C:/Program Files/IPMsg/IPMsg . exe " 12345

To bind to the specified IP, such as192.168.2.13:

" C:/Program Files/IPMsg/IPMsg . exe "/NIC 192. 168 . 2 . 13

Pay special attention not to add parameters in quotation marks, which is wrong:

" C:/Program Files/IPMsg/IPMsg . exe 12345 "

6. If there are other inexplicable situations, maybe. . . You need to reinstall the system.
