The negotiation process is divided into three stages:
1, diagnosis stage. This stage includes establishing consultation relationship, collecting relevant information, making diagnosis and setting consultation objectives.
2. Consultation stage. This is the core and most important substantive stage of psychological counseling. The main task of psychological counselors is to help clients analyze and solve problems and change their inappropriate cognitive emotions or behaviors.
3. Consolidation stage. This stage is the summary and improvement stage of consultation. There are two kinds of consultation. First, the consultation is over. We should summarize this consultation and make preparations for the next one. The other is the end of the whole consultation, which should be reviewed and summarized to consolidate the results of the consultation.
