The exhibition garden, also known as Daming Palace and Jinling No.1 Garden, was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. This used to be the palace of Xu Da, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty. This is one of the four famous gardens in Jiangnan. It is a typical Jiangnan garden. There are many flowers and plants in it. Because it is the Eastern Palace of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, it still has many historical and cultural connotations.
Zhanyuan has been restored and expanded several times, forming today's scale. * * * is divided into four stages, the first stage is to restore the original remaining rockery in the north, and the second stage is to restore the rockery in the south. The transition between the two is the big lawn of the bonsai garden, which is the practice of modern parks.
