1 The scenery behind Qingcheng Mountain is surrounded by streams, waterfalls and pools, and the routes with good scenery are all the routes where streams flow (marked in blue in the figure).
The best ones are mainly in Wulongfang-Jinwatuo-friendship village and Cuiying Lake-100m long bridge-Jinli cableway. The section from friendship village-Jiuseng Cave-Baiyun Temple-Tianqiao is just a mountain climbing. Nothing special, so you don't need to go.
The mountain is not very steep, the road surface is good, and there are two cable cars to take. From the foot of the mountain to the middle of the mountain, there is a golden cableway, and from another village to the overpass, there is a Baiyun cableway.
Personally, I think the better tour route is:
Wulongfang-Jinwawa Tuo-friendship village-Take Baiyun Cableway-Overpass-Cuiying Lake-100m Long Bridge-Jinli Cableway Station. This route can visit all the places with good scenery, eliminating the boring places along Jiusangdong-Baiyun Temple and a ticket (5 yuan). Just take the cable car (35 yuan). If you don't want to take the cable car, you can walk along the Jinli cableway from another village to the bottom of Cuiying Lake, then walk on the overpass and turn back. Just take a boat twice (***4 yuan).
Basic information
Qingchengshan is less than 70 kilometers away from Chengdu, so take the expressway and pass through Dujiangyan city (Dujiangyan is also a good place to travel).
There is a bus from Xinnanmen Station in Chengdu to the back of Qingcheng Mountain, which arrives at 10 every half hour at 8: 00 am.
