How to write a better reason for changing majors in freshman year?

The reasons for changing majors can be written as follows: the inadaptability of major study, the inadaptability of freshmen to their own majors after entering school, or the change and deviation of interests, as well as the restrictions on students' conditions and study fees. As a result, they can't give full play to their advantages and specialties and finish their studies.

With the exploration of my interest, my understanding of my major and my future career planning, I think xxx major is more suitable for me. I prefer to think, practice, explore and find answers by myself. I believe that a strong thirst for knowledge makes me more suitable for xxx. And xxx major, I believe it can provide me with more room for development, and I also believe it can better show my ability. I am looking forward to the future of xxx and hope to go further on xxx.

After a period of study since the beginning of school, my understanding and knowledge of xxx major has been deepened. When studying my current major, I deeply feel that I am not interested in xxx major. Therefore, I felt that I didn't study deeply last semester and I didn't have a solid grasp of relevant knowledge. I think I didn't catch up with what I liked and deviated from my dream.

When filling in the college entrance examination, most of them listened to other people's opinions to fill in their major choices. At that time, their feelings about the future were still vague. Now, I finally found what I like and want to catch. My parents also support me very much, hoping that I really study for my hobbies, instead of following the crowd in xxx major (although xxx major is very strong in xxx and very popular in society). After repeated thinking, I made up my mind to change my major.

Therefore, I finally decided to apply for a major change. I believe I will seize this opportunity.
