Yang Wuzhi Wuzhi was born in Fengyang, Anhui Province,1April, 19961August, 1996 in Hefei, Anhui Province. He is a mathematician and a math educator. Long-term President or Acting Director of the Department of Mathematics in Tsinghua University and The National SouthWest Associated University. He is the father of Yang Zhenning, a scholar engaged in the teaching and research of modern number theory and algebra in China in his early days and a Nobel Prize winner. Yang Wuzhi's main academic contribution is the study of number theory, especially his work on the Waring problem.
