Since 1980s, he has been devoted to the research on the diagnostic criteria and standardization of TCM syndromes. The research contents include: ① Diagnostic criteria of blood stasis syndrome. After studying under Academician Chen Keji, he engaged in the study of blood stasis syndrome and promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis. For the first time, he used computer multi-factor analysis to study blood stasis syndrome, and put forward the quantitative scoring table of blood stasis syndrome diagnosis standard and the objective diagnosis method of blood stasis abdominal diagnosis, which was superior to the Japanese method at the same time. It was one of the earliest objective quantitative methods in TCM syndrome research and won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress (ranked fourth). ② Diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. For the first time, the entropy correlation method was used to analyze the cases of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease confirmed by coronary angiography, established the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, improved the basis of TCM syndrome differentiation of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, and won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of Chinese Medical Association (ranked first). ③ Evaluation criteria of TCM curative effect on angina pectoris of coronary heart disease. Through coronary angiography, expert consultation and questionnaire analysis, the evaluation standard of TCM curative effect of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris was established for the first time, which established a platform for objective evaluation of TCM clinical efficacy and won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of Chinese Medicine Association (ranking first).
A number of important original achievements have also been made in the study of the biological mechanism of syndromes. The research contents include: ① Study on differential gene expression of coronary heart disease with blood stasis syndrome. 28 truly different gene fragment sequences were found. Through comparative analysis in NCBI human genome database, three (B 100%), two (b 12, 36a) and two (25b, 23b) were obtained. ② Study on the Mechanism of Micronucleotide Regulating Blood Stasis Syndrome of Coronary Heart Disease. It was found that miR- 146b-5p and miR- 199a-5p were significantly increased in patients with unstable angina pectoris, indicating that they affected inflammation and apoptosis by inhibiting the expression of target genes, which eventually led to the occurrence of blood stasis syndrome. Differential bands were obtained by differential display of peripheral blood mRNA, positive verification by reverse Northern method and cloning and sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis was carried out. The correlation between blood stasis syndrome and inflammatory cell apoptosis in coronary heart disease was revealed for the first time from the level of gene transcription, which provided a molecular target for the objective diagnosis and treatment of blood stasis syndrome.
2. Research on prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease with traditional Chinese medicine
Clinically, we advocate the combination of disease and syndrome, the correspondence between prescriptions and syndromes, and make good use of classic famous prescriptions to treat cardiovascular critical diseases and intractable diseases. On the basis of TCM syndrome differentiation, this paper puts forward the academic thought of "combining pathogenesis with pathology and combining medicine with syndrome", and advocates the combination of Chinese and western medicine, compatibility of ingredients and targeted treatment to improve the clinical efficacy of TCM. The research contents include: ① Study on the distribution law of angina pectoris syndrome of coronary heart disease. By presiding over the 973 project "Study on Combined Diagnostic Criteria and Therapeutic Evaluation Criteria of Coronary Heart Disease and Angina Pectoris", the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes of Coronary Heart Disease and Angina Pectoris were established for the first time to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of Chinese medicine society (ranked first). ② Study on dynamic evolution of syndromes before and after percutaneous coronary intervention. By analyzing the information of patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris before and after intervention, the distribution law of TCM syndrome elements of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris and the evolution law of TCM syndrome before and after intervention were revealed, and the Guide to TCM diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris was formulated, which won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of Chinese Medical Association (ranking first). ③ Clinical study on the corresponding prescriptions and syndromes of coronary heart disease. According to the above guidelines, a multicenter, randomized, double-blind and controlled trial was conducted in clinic. The method of resolving phlegm and activating blood circulation and the method of invigorating qi and activating blood circulation were used to intervene in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease with mutual resistance of phlegm and blood stasis and deficiency of both qi and yin respectively, which proved that the symptoms of angina pectoris were obviously improved and the quality of life was improved after corresponding treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine has certain effects of inhibiting inflammatory reaction, stabilizing plaque and antioxidation. ④ Study on borderline coronary artery disease. Clinical evaluation of Xiao Su Jiuxin Pill in improving symptoms and quality of life of patients with borderline coronary heart disease confirmed that Xiao Su Jiuxin Pill can relieve angina symptoms and TCM syndromes of coronary heart disease with blood stasis syndrome, and can improve the quality of life of patients. Using modern research methods to interpret the application of the concept of "preventing disease" in the treatment of coronary heart disease. ⑤ Study on compatibility of prescription components. By presiding over the national major new drug creation project "Study on component compatibility optimization of Huoxue Anxin recipe for treating coronary heart disease", on the basis of combing the theoretical methods and thinking of prescription compatibility, the component compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis was studied. With the help of the research method of compound ingredient ratio optimization, a new mode of compound compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine was put forward, and won the second prize of scientific and technological achievements of Chinese Medical Association (ranking first).
3. Research on prevention and treatment of AIDS with traditional Chinese medicine
Since 1989, he has been exploring the ideas and laws of TCM in preventing and treating AIDS, and has written articles such as Theoretical Basis and Measures of TCM in Preventing and Treating AIDS, which were published in China Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and journal of traditional chinese medicine. In 2009, he undertook the national science and technology major project "Research on the Intervention of Traditional Chinese Medicine on AIDS Immune Reconstruction", and adopted a multi-center, randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled clinical trial for the first time to study the influence of traditional Chinese medicine on AIDS immune reconstruction, and made some progress. This study objectively evaluated the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in interfering with AIDS immune reconstruction, initially confirmed the promoting effect of traditional Chinese medicine on AIDS patients' immune reconstruction, and provided evidence-based basis for the treatment of AIDS with traditional Chinese medicine.
4. Standardize management and train talents
In promoting the development of the hospital, with the goal of building Guang 'anmen Hospital into a comprehensive, modern and international Chinese medicine hospital integrating medicine and teaching, the medical quality has been improved year by year through standardized management and innovative system, and the total number of outpatient and emergency departments in the hospital has increased by more than 1.5 times compared with that before 2007.
