The capacity expansion and reconstruction project of the first-class highway from Xining to Huzhu is an important part of "Provincial Highway 10 1 expressway in Xining" in the fifth line of Qinghai Provincial Highway Network Planning (20 14-2030). It is a fast-track connecting Haidong City with the provincial capital Xining and Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, and an important part of expressway network to strengthen Xining's radiation to surrounding areas.
The starting point of this project is located at the intersection of Yunjiakou Interchange Ramp and Huzhu Road in Xining City, and the end point connects Jiading (Qinggan Street) to Weiyuan Interchange of Haiyan Highway. The total length of the route is 4278km, and the whole line is built according to expressway standards, with a design speed of 100km per hour. There are four toll stations on the whole line: Huzhu Main Line, Tang Chuan, Huzhu South and Huzhu East. The project is implemented in two stages. The line from Sanqi Village to Weiyuan Interchange in Tang Chuan Town in the first phase of the project is 3,748 kilometers long. The reconstruction and expansion of Sanqi Village to Huzhu South Section in Tang Chuan Town adopts the two-way six-lane expressway standard, and the overall subgrade is 335 meters wide and 2,045 kilometers long. In August 2020, the road section began to be closed in two directions. Huzhu South-Weiyuan Interchange is a new section, which adopts two-way four-lane expressway standard. The overall subgrade is 26 meters wide and 1703 kilometers long. Construction started on July 20 19. The second phase of the project, Yunjiakou Interchange to Sanqi Village, Tang Chuan Town, is 53 kilometers long, and construction started in June165438+1October 2020.
