The Armed Police Lhasa Command College is located at the foot of Gali Mountain in the northern suburb of Lhasa. It is a military academy that trains junior commanding officers and the only undergraduate military academy in Tibet. It was rebuilt by the teaching brigade of the former Tibet Corps from 65438 to 0994. The school is subordinate to the Armed Police Tibet Corps, with the division level. This college is the only military academy in Tibet and the highest military academy in the world, and is known as the "cradle of plateau police officers". 1984, the teaching brigade of the Armed Police Tibet Corps officially rebuilt the Lhasa Command School of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force (Armed Police Lhasa Command School). (Say1994) In 2004, the Lhasa Branch of the Command College of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force was established and co-located. Began to recruit undergraduates in 2004. In 2006, the Lhasa Command School of the Armed Police merged with the Lhasa Branch of the Armed Police Command College and was upgraded to the Lhasa Command College of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. The college has set up a four-year undergraduate program of Armed Police Command, which recruits high school graduates and active servicemen of the Armed Police Force for Tibet, Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Qinghai and other provinces and cities. At present, the college has more than 30 teachers with middle and senior titles, such as professors and associate professors, and more than 20 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees. Among them, many people, represented by Dr. Nikolai Chaqiang, the first PLA logistics commander of the Armed Police Force, were awarded outstanding teachers of the whole army, advanced individuals of the Armed Police Force, outstanding teachers of the Armed Police Force and talent awards in military academies. The College insists on running schools jointly with local universities and scientific research units such as Xizang Autonomous Region Party School, Tibet University, Xizang Autonomous Region Academy of Social Sciences, Xizang Autonomous Region Higher Police School, and employs more than 30 local experts and scholars as part-time professors and visiting professors, enriching the teaching staff and improving the teaching level.
During the period of school, students enjoy the treatment of supplying students, uniformly distribute students' clothes, avoid paying meals and tuition fees, enjoy free medical care and pay monthly allowances. During the winter and summer vacations of each academic year, the round-trip travel expenses for visiting relatives will be reimbursed. After graduation, according to the principle of "planned distribution, supplementary as needed, professional matching and rational use", the students will be assigned posts and arranged work by the army, and become a glorious officer of the Armed Police Force.
