Chueh-hsin's character introduction

Jue Xin is the third generation gentleman of Jue in Ba Jin's novel Home. I got excellent grades in middle school. I dreamed of studying abroad, but I had to give up my studies because of my eldest son. He and his cousin Qian Meifen two of a kind, but due to the contradiction between his stepmother Zhou and Mei Fen's mother, he and Mei Fen did not get married. His parents want him to marry Miss Li Ruijue, a reasonable woman, and Chueh-hsin's marriage is very happy. Later, a child named Haichen was born.

Mei Fen became a widow less than a year after she married Zhao Jia. Back in Chengdu, I met Chueh-hsin again and told each other about my lovesickness. What happened between Muffin and Chueh-hsin made Jui-chueh suspicious. She communicated with Mei Fen and got to know their feelings. Jui-chueh did not exclude Mei Fen, but became good sisters with Mei Fen. When Mei Fen saw Chueh-hsin and Jui-chueh happy, she couldn't help thinking of her sad past. She was depressed all day and finally died at home. Muffin's death made Chueh-hsin very sad. Grandpa Gao died, and Jui-chueh's second child was about to give birth gradually. The Gao family elders told the story of "Bloody Disaster" and forced Jui-chueh to move to the wild for production. Although Chueh-hsin was not satisfied, he did not resist. Jui-chueh gave birth during childbirth, and finally Chueh-hsin didn't get up the courage to meet Jui-chueh. Finally, Jui-chueh died in childbirth, but she didn't see him for the last time.

In Spring, the sequel to Home, Chueh-hsin fell in love with her cousin Hui (probably because she and Qian Meifen had the same tragic fate). Hui wants to marry the Zheng family. The young master of the Zheng family has a bad personality, and his father insists on marrying the Zheng family. Hui was humiliated in Zhengjiacheng, spent his whole life and finally died in the hospital. From Hui's marriage to her death, he failed to help her. He was deeply saddened by what happened to Hui.

Chueh-hsin's children Yuner and Haichen died one after another. Chueh-hsin's heart is dying.

In autumn, the follow-up of spring, Hui's body stayed in the temple for a year, but the Zheng family did not bury her. Chueh-hsin and his younger brother Chueh-min threatened Hui's husband, and finally Hui's body was buried. Cui Huan, the maid in the third room, fell in love with Chueh-hsin, so the third wife promised to marry Cui Huan to him. Chueh-hsin was always angry with his elders, and finally he couldn't help it. Finally, he resisted once. The Gaos finally broke up and Chueh-hsin started a new life.

Note: In the initial setting, Chueh-hsin ended up committing suicide, but due to Ba Jin's fiancee, brother and others, Chueh-hsin ended up "starting a new life".
