1, advantages
The working face of the toothed belt is made into a tooth shape, and generally a thin steel wire rope is used as a strengthening layer, and chloroprene rubber or chloroprene rubber is coated on the outside. The center line of the strong layer is defined as the pitch line of the belt, and the circumference of the belt line is the nominal length. The basic parameters of the belt are pitch p and modulus m. Pitch p is equal to the size measured along the pitch line between the corresponding points of two adjacent teeth, and modulus m=p/π. In China, the synchronous toothed belt adopts modular system, and the specifications are expressed by modulus × bandwidth × number of teeth.
The application form of toothed belt is synchronous belt drive, which is driven by meshing teeth on belt and pulley.
Toothed belt and V-belt are widely used in mechanical belt transmission, which have the characteristics of simple structure, stable transmission, shock absorption, large wheelbase, power transmission between multiple shafts, low cost, no lubrication and easy maintenance.
2. Deficiencies
Toothed belt transmission can ensure the synchronization of transmission, but its ability to absorb load changes is slightly poor, and it is noisy at high speed.
Second, V-belt.
1, advantages
The working face of the V-belt is made into a V-shape, which is an endless annular adhesive tape composed of a strength layer, a tensile layer, a compression layer and a cloth layer. The strength layer is mainly used to bear tensile force, the tensile layer and the compression layer play the role of stretching and compression when bending, and the function of the wrapping layer is mainly to enhance the strength of the belt. The cross-sectional size and length of V-belt have standard specifications.
The application form of V-belt is friction belt transmission driven by friction between belt and pulley.
Toothed belt and V-belt are widely used in mechanical belt transmission, which have the characteristics of simple structure, stable transmission, shock absorption, large wheelbase, power transmission between multiple shafts, low cost, no lubrication and easy maintenance.
2. Deficiencies
V-belt drive can overload and slip, with low running noise, but the transmission ratio is relatively stable.
