2. Introduction of Xinglin College of Nantong University
Xinglin College of Nantong University is an independent undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. College was founded in February 1999, formerly known as Xinglin College of Nantong Medical College. In May 2004, Nantong University was formed by the merger of Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology and Nantong Normal College, and was renamed as Xinglin College of Nantong University.
Focusing on the needs of economic and social development, the college trains all kinds of applied talents. At present, there are more than 500 full-time undergraduates1/kloc-0, with 48 majors, covering seven disciplines, including economics, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management and art, with Qidong campus as the main campus. The campus is located in the high-tech industrial park in Qidong City, Nantong, Jiangsu Province, which is economically developed. It is adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the east and Shanghai. With a unique geographical advantage, it aims to build an ecological, garden-like, digital and sea-view campus with a planned total area of nearly1.200mu.. The medical specialty of our college is currently running in Chongchuan Campus, which is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, which is "the first city in modern China" and one of the first coastal open cities in China. Campus is an ideal home for students to study, cultivate their sentiments and fly their dreams.
