Laobuhai is a local folk belief, which is said to be the product of the seven fairies in the sky. The local people think that as long as the old Buhai passes by, it will bring good luck to people. Therefore, on the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, local people will scramble to "invite" Lao Buhai, hoping that it will bring good luck to their families.
In the eyes of local people, old boys is not husband and wife. It's just a symbol, representing the local people's beliefs and traditional culture.
