Career planning of a mechanical and electrical major college student

Career planning of a mechanical and electrical major college student

I am a sophomore in Maoming College, and I am a student of Class 3, Grade 2008, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This semester, we studied the course of career planning. Through this course, I have a deeper understanding of the importance of career planning.

College students are in the exploration stage of their careers, just crossing the transition period (18 ~ 22 years old) and the experimental commitment period (22 ~ 24 years old). During these two periods, college students' personal abilities improved rapidly, their career interests tended to be stable, and their expectations for future careers gradually formed. After completing vocational study and vocational preparation, college students will take their first job and formally start their career after graduation. Therefore, during the experimental commitment period, many students often need to make key decisions about their future career. Therefore, the university period is the golden stage of career planning, which has a far-reaching impact on the future career trend and career development of college students.

In order to do a good job in this planning book, I carefully analyzed my interests, specialties, personality, knowledge, skills and other aspects, and seriously evaluated myself. The overall evaluation results are as follows: (quick response, wisdom, ability to inspire others, strong alertness and outspoken. Have strategies and skills when solving new and challenging problems. We should be good at finding out theoretical possibilities and then analyze them from a strategic perspective. Be good at understanding others. I don't like to follow the rules, rarely do the same things in the same way, and tend to develop new hobbies one after another. This planning book is based on the results of the evaluation report and my personal analysis.

Chapter 1: Look at yourself and define your goals.

Part I: Self-examination

Introspection is innocent, what is the husband worried about? ("The Analects? In today's impetuous era, people often can't see their own shortcomings. But achievements tend to favor those who are open-minded and can always look at themselves. Learning to look at yourself is particularly important for self-improvement and can plan your career more correctly.

The following is a comprehensive survey of my own advantages and disadvantages.

1. Identify your own advantages.

(1) What have I learned?

During my study at school, I not only enriched my knowledge, but also laid a solid foundation for my future work. In my major, I studied mold design and manufacturing. Through the theoretical knowledge in school and the training of metalworking practice and off-campus practice, I have a deep understanding of this major and can apply it to practical work.

(2) What did I do?

During my college years, I served as a student union cadre and worked hard in the department. I not only learned the work of the department, but also exercised my social skills. In addition, I also participated in the college volunteers, went to nursing homes for condolences many times, participated in volunteer activities organized by the Volunteers Association, and won the honorary title of Sunshine Volunteer. The university life is rich and colorful, and I constantly participate in various extracurricular activities, and I have made great achievements in quality development.

What is my greatest success?

What makes me feel most successful is the results of summer vacation in senior three and freshman year. In the factory, I am just an ordinary employee. Like most summer jobs, this is my first job and I don't have any work experience. Some people can't stand suffering and give up halfway. Some people have been complaining about what they call long working hours. But I don't think so. Although I am only a summer job, I believe I am no worse than the regular staff there, and I have always believed that I will do better than the regular staff.

I keep learning about the production and production process of various products. Even though I work hard, I spend half as much time at work as others. Finally, my efforts paid off. I was promoted as a material clerk by the factory as an exception and began to let me manage the workshop. The following are the rewards I got in the factory. I have never given summer jobs in the factory before.

2. Find your own shortcomings

(1) character weakness.

On the one hand, I am an optimistic person, and I am positive and optimistic about many things, so this is my shortcoming for some serious work. Sometimes I make mistakes because I am too optimistic.

On the other hand, in terms of interpersonal communication, I feel that I still lack initiative. Sometimes when it comes to unfamiliar topics, I am at a loss.

(2) Experience and lack of experience.

First: I am still a student at school, and I still lack social experience, so I need to exercise.

Second: I have just worked outside for a few months, and I am inexperienced and need to exercise.

3. Summary

At work, I am a very attentive person. No matter how simple the work is, I will attach equal importance to it. No matter how difficult the problem is, I will try my best. No matter what job I treat, I will have a better attitude than others. I am willing to start from a lower level, but I don't want to be a lower level forever. I am an ambitious person. I will go on step by step and keep climbing. I'll do my best.

Part II: Clear objectives

The most important thing in life is not where we are, but the direction of our activities.

You must set a goal in life, or your energy will be wasted.

Without your own goals, all actions are called drifting.

Without lofty goals, you will be the foil and vassal of others all your life.

No trouble is the biggest trouble. I don't know what to do tomorrow. Life is subtraction, less and less every day.

No goal-wasting energy, drifting with the flow, is the foil, vassal and slave of others.

Life without an aim is like an unmanned boat drifting aimlessly in the wind. A person who sets a goal, when competing with others, is equal to winning half. Setting goals is the starting point of success, so we must realize the importance of setting goals. A wise man who insists on the spirit of "focusing on one thing" can focus on one thing until he succeeds. Only a fool can muddle through life.

Therefore, I will be clear about my goals and keep moving towards them.

1. Clear objectives

Through all-round understanding of myself, I finally established my goal of being a senior mold designer. There are three reasons for choosing this career as a goal:

First: My major is mold design and manufacturing (this is my goal since high school), and my professional knowledge base is solid.

Second: I am a hard worker. I will learn better what I don't know, and I will be careful when I need very accurate measurements. So my personality is suitable to be a mold design and manufacturing engineer.

Third: Now the mold design and manufacturing industry has a wide development space, which is suitable for passionate young people like me.

2. Understanding of goals

1, what is a mold?

Mold is a kind of production tool that can produce parts with certain shape and size requirements. That is, what people usually call molds, such as televisions, telephone casings, plastic barrels and other commodities, are produced by injecting plastic heating software into the molds and cooling them. The rice cooker is also pressed into this shape with a metal plate with a mold. Any commodity is made of molds. It can be said that there is no product production without mold.
