On July 23rd, during the 5th Digital China Construction Achievement Exhibition (Achievement Exhibition) held in Fuzhou, ABB, China Telecom and Huawei jointly promoted the 5G intelligent power distribution solution.
The Digital China Development Report (202 1) issued by the National Internet Information Office shows that China has built the largest and most technologically advanced network infrastructure in the world. By the end of 20021,China had built14.25 million 5G base stations, accounting for more than 60% of the world.
In the past, as a broadband and low-latency communication technology, 5G was widely used in smart cities, smart transportation and other fields, but it was still in its infancy in the field of power distribution. 5G intelligent power distribution needs low delay and high reliability two-way synchronization guarantee, communication basic guarantee, and innovation of information management and technical processing. Zhao Yongzhan, president of ABB Electric China, told 2 1 Century Business Herald that ABB, China Telecom and Huawei integrated cutting-edge communication and distribution automation technologies to jointly promote the 5G intelligent distribution solution.
What role did these three companies play in this plan? Jiang Ying, head of digital business in China district of ABB Electric, introduced that China Telecom applied the 5G network slicing and superimposing tunnel networking technology to the power distribution field, providing fast information channels for urban power distribution networks and ensuring information security; Using Huawei's latest 5G communication technology, based on IEC6 1850GOOSE communication, the wide-area rapid deployment is realized. Combined with the urban distribution network scenario, ABBAbilitytrade intelligent distribution 5G solution supports accurate fault location, isolation and self-healing, realizes fault isolation within 150ms and restores power supply within 300ms, and ensures the reliability of future distribution network power supply.
At this year's achievement exhibition, ABB also exhibited ABBAbilitytrade intelligent energy management system; EAM energy efficiency and asset health management scheme and SafeAir environmental protection gas ring network cabinet and other digital products and solutions of distribution system. Among them, ABBAbilitytrade smart energy management system can comprehensively optimize the management of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage batteries, charging piles, air conditioning, lighting and other park energy elements. It is also possible to establish an elastic distribution network to serve the country in building a new power system.
On 2002 1,1,the State Council released the action plan for peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030, pointing out that by 2030, the consumption proportion of non-fossil energy will reach about 25%, and the carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP will drop by more than 65% compared with 2005, thus successfully achieving the goal of peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030.
Zhao Yongzhan said that China emphasizes the construction of a new power system, the first thing is to build a strong distribution network with high toughness, and the concept of high flexibility is the future power generation mode. From the enterprise's point of view, although the peak value is considered in the installation, there is still a large capacity surplus on the demand side in practical application. At this time, it is necessary to flexibly release excess electricity consumption. Microgrids help to provide energy reliability and flexibility. Under the concept of microgrid, it is both an energy user and an energy supplier.
At the same time, in the future, coal-based centralized power generation will change to new energy, and it is predicted that new energy power generation will account for 70%. However, new energy sources are uncontrollable and volatile, which is not as stable and controllable as traditional power generation. This means that when new energy becomes the main force, the power generation treatment of large power grid cannot be the only choice, and it needs the coordinated regulation of large power grid and micro-grid. It is understood that ABB Xiamen Industrial Center has established a micro-grid demonstration base, and the park has established 12mw photovoltaic, which can basically cover 50% of the normal electricity consumption in the park, and at least realize 40%-50% of spontaneous self-use.
Zhao Yongzhan further introduced that 5G distribution technology is also an important supporting technology for building a high-toughness distribution network. When photovoltaic and other power sources are connected to form a multi-source heterogeneous power grid, once a network fault occurs, it is necessary to quickly locate, isolate and self-heal the fault, and meet the timeliness and reliability requirements of massive information transmission in urban distribution networks through 5G intelligent power distribution means.
