What is the difference between a third-level and a second-level psychological counselor?

There are many differences between grade two and grade three psychological counselors, mainly including:

1, different levels:

(1) The third level of consultant is the former consultant, that is, the assistant consultant belongs to the primary level;

(2) The second-level consultant is a "teacher" level, which belongs to the middle and advanced level and is also the highest level in the current unified examination.

2. Different reporting conditions:

Psychological counselor level 3 (with one of the following conditions)

(1) Graduated from a junior college majoring in psychology, education or medicine, or graduated from other majors, continuously engaged in psychological counseling for 1 year, received formal training at the level of psychological counselor to reach the required standard hours, and obtained a graduation (completion) certificate.

(2) Those who have graduated from psychology, pedagogy and medicine, received the standard hours of formal training at the level of psychological counselor, and obtained the graduation (completion) certificate.

(3) Those who have primary titles in psychology, education and medicine, have been engaged in psychological counseling for more than 3 years continuously, have received standard hours of formal training at the level of psychological counselors, and have obtained graduation (completion) certificates.

(4) Those who have been engaged in psychological counseling for five consecutive years and can issue reliable certificates, have received formal training at the level of psychological counselors, and have obtained graduation (completion) certificates.

Psychological counselor level 2 (with one of the following conditions)

(1) Persons who have been engaged in psychological counseling for more than 4 years after obtaining the professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, have received formal training at the level of psychological counselors and reached the prescribed standard hours, and have obtained graduation (graduation) certificates.

(2) Those who have graduated with a master's degree in psychology, education, medicine, etc., have been engaged in psychological counseling for more than 5 years continuously, have received formal training at the level of psychological counselors, have reached the required standard hours, and have obtained graduation (graduation) certificates.

(3) Having intermediate titles in psychology, education and medicine, having been engaged in psychological counseling for more than 3 years continuously, having reached the standard hours stipulated in formal training for psychological counselors, and having obtained a graduation (completion) certificate.

(4) Those who have senior titles in psychology, education and medicine, have been engaged in psychological counseling for more than 1 year, have reached the standard hours of formal training for psychological counselors, and have obtained graduation (completion) certificates.

3. Different job requirements

(1) The three-level test ability of psychological counselors focuses on the diagnosis and consultation of general psychology and serious psychological problems.

(2) Psychological counselors have added the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of neurosis and suspected neurosis to this requirement.

(3) The second-level counselors can organize leading group psychological counseling, but the third-level counselors do not have this point.

(4) Secondary counselors have higher requirements for psychological evaluation.

4. Different test requirements:

Second-level consultants increase paper review and interview, and require personal growth reports and case reports.
