Weishui village, watching the mountains and thinking about the water flowing into homesickness.

After coming back for a few days, I racked my brains and was ashamed to write. I didn't know how to describe her, because my words were poor, and I felt that my only words could not describe its beauty in my heart. Everyone has different concerns and preferences, but my impression of Weishui Village is almost perfect, simple, beautiful, quiet and dignified. It has both the traditional characteristics of ancient villages in the north and the characteristics of ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River.

Weishui Village belongs to Shicheng Town, Pingshun County. It is very old because it has a history of 600 years. In the fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, the descendants of Yue Lin, the third son of Yue Fei, moved here. It's very simple, because compared with other ancient villages, it looks older and even a little run-down. However, there are not so many new houses in the village, and the original appearance of the ancient village has been preserved.

Her beauty comes from the clear water flowing from the ancient well in Kowloon at the entrance of the village, and it is said that mountains and rivers flow in the valley during the rainy season, nourishing a large area of reeds, hence the name. I didn't go to see it because of time. Imagine that it is full of poetry and painting, which is wonderful enough. Its tranquility lies in being far away from the city, embedded in the depths of Taihang Mountain on the south bank of Zhang Zhuo, and sparsely populated. Its high-end atmosphere is not how brilliant modern architecture is, but those Ming and Qing dwellings that have been baptized by years, but stand proudly on high places and even have residents, demonstrating their spirit.

Mountains are majestic because of water, and water is delicate because of mountains. Wei adapted to local conditions and absorbed the essence of both. The village was built on the mountain, backed by Jiulong Mountain, and the water from the gully of Jiulong Mountain flowed down and gathered together, which was collected by hardworking villagers. Far away, I vaguely heard the sound of water. Take a closer look, I saw a clear water, reflecting the white house next to it and the surrounding trees. Beautiful! The small mountain village, because of this pool of clear water, suddenly became smart and lively, adding more charm to the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River.

The spring of the ancient well above the pool tinkled and the manhole cover was opened. The louder the sound of water, the clearer it is. Because there is running water at the source, there is a big bowl of hole in the wall gurgling with water. I'd like to bend down and try it, but it's cold and I have a bad appetite. I just thought about it and didn't dare to put it into action, but I remembered the coolness and sweetness of drinking well water in my hometown when I was a child. At that time, I just wanted to have fun, but I didn't care about my grandfather getting up in the middle of the night to queue up for water. My grandmother hit a pair of deformed feet, bent over and carried the load.

Next to the ancient well in Kowloon is the Jade Emperor Temple, with several stone tablets rebuilt by several emperors in the Qing Dynasty. The temple is small, with a main hall and a side hall, and the Dragon King Hall in Wulong and Bailong respectively to ensure the safety of one side. There is a stage and a big bronze bell in the yard. I wonder if there will be a stage singing in the village with the Jade Emperor Temple. Anyway, the Jade Emperor Temple in my hometown is very large, and the specific building age is unknown. The main hall is a relic of the Yuan Dynasty. I remember when I was a child, I would sing a big play on holidays, and I would take a long wooden bench with my grandmother to take up the place and watch the play early. Many historical figures and stories I know now were known at that time. Now, I wonder how many children will go to the theater with adults? How many young parents are willing and like to watch it?

In addition, there are Guan Gong Temple with unknown building age and Kannonji in Qing Dynasty. These temples are also found in my hometown, which are larger than here, so coming to this place, especially worrying about nostalgia, always reminds me a lot. The ancients often filled their hearts with the moon and played the flute with the screen. I don't have their talent, so let's talk about the past in the village.

Walking in a quiet village, I always meet less than five people, all of whom are old people, very simple and hospitable. Villages are layered, Gu Xiang is narrow, and the ancient roads are vicissitudes. No matter how you walk around, you will meet again soon. Our companion said, "All roads lead to Rome". Yes, the world is big, the earth is round, and we will always return to the original point. What's more, a small mountain village, when the descendants of Yue Fei came to this generation to settle down, must have never expected that today, with the increasingly developed transportation network and information, it will become a tourist attraction.

Stepping on the stone road and stone steps, going up and down, going back and forth, shuttling through the village in the afternoon, as if you had just visited. How can it be so elegant? How can you be so diligent? Exquisite brick carvings and meticulous wood carvings on the gate, stone steps, stone houses, stone walls, stone mills, stone benches, stone tables, and slates are all on the mountain, with local materials, deep in yellow mud and adobe houses. Being in the deep mountains, relying on wisdom and hard work, we have created a paradise where chickens and dogs know each other and are comfortable. This is a place where you can heal your body and mind. During this period, you will forget everything, your body and mind will be quiet, and your soul will be safe.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, residential houses and high-walled courtyards stood tall. Although mottled or even abandoned, it is difficult to hide their glorious history and solid architecture. Some of them were tied with horse stones in several places on the door wall. When the village is busy, there must be a sea of people and traffic, right? Those courtyards used to be full of children's play. Later generations, like Yue Fei, were also forced by current events and came here for generations to live and develop. What about us? When I was a child, our old house was full of excitement, with four generations living under one roof. With the death of grandparents, the door is locked now. It is said that the yard is overgrown with weeds. I haven't had the courage to intervene since my grandmother left. It's so sad.

Strolling in quiet villages, narrow alleys and long stone roads, time and space are reversed, and at some point you will feel that you are in an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. Maybe it's because those slates are always covered with moss, so some grass grows. When I was deep in an alley with bluestones on three sides, I felt myself in a world of stones. The companion said, "It's really Shicheng Town, full of stones." I felt a little cold and depressed, and suddenly a lovely cat appeared. Suddenly, I realized that I was more warm and angry. I chased the cat to tease it, tease it and talk to it. Life is so interesting!

The hen was anxious to tell her master that the chickens circling in front of the villagers' house had laid eggs. Probably the owner is not here, but he didn't come out to get the eggs anyway. We were full of energy, staring at a nest of chickens and an egg for a long time, not only imitating the crowing of others, but also wondering how the host avoided the chickens that laid eggs and got the eggs. When I was a child, every morning when I removed the bricks blocking the chicken nest, my grandmother would check which chicken laid eggs that day, and then she would tell our sisters to pay attention to the chickens that laid eggs, remember to hear the chickens crow and get the eggs. Generally, the henhouse is divided into two floors, the bottom is the bedroom, which is mixed. There are several delivery rooms upstairs, one side facing outwards, which are open. Each delivery room just accommodates an old hen, which is covered with soft straw and will be replaced regularly. Avoid hens when taking eggs. The newly laid eggs are hot. Grandma said that people with eye diseases can cure eye diseases by applying hot eggs. We will apply our eyes and face and feel the hot temperature, and we won't feel unclean or anything.

When standing behind the top building in the village and lying on the neat firewood pile, we also had a silly laugh for a long time, joking that we were "firewood girls" and feeling a little "we sat next to the high grain pile and listened to our mother's past stories". Looking up from afar, Weishui Village has a panoramic view, which is slightly messy. On the distant mountain, clusters of white apricot flowers are in full bloom. The clear water in the village stands out. It is no wonder that some people say that "there is a mountain village under the Jiulong Mountain, the ancient temples and streets show ancient charm, and the chickens and dogs smell the farmhouses, and the pastoral scenery is refreshing". You can really see mountains and water here. Remember to be homesick.
