Jinzhai County is located in the western border of Anhui, in the hinterland of Dabie Mountain, at the junction of three provinces, seven counties and two districts. The west and south sides are adjacent to Henan Province and Hubei Province, with a total area of 38 14 square kilometers. Jinzhai County is the largest and most populous mountainous county in Anhui Province and the second largest general county in China. Known as "the cradle of the Red Army, the hometown of generals", the old revolutionary base area, an important source of China revolution and an important source of the people's army.
