What district is Yancheng?

Yancheng is Dongting District, located in the northeast of Yancheng city center, with a population density of about 500,000. Yancheng is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province and one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta. It is located in the eastern coast of China, in the middle of Jiangsu Province, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, Nantong in the south, Yangzhou and Taizhou in the southwest, Huai 'an in the northwest and Lianyungang across the Guanhe River in the north.

Yancheng has convenient land, sea and air transportation, and basically formed a five-in-one three-dimensional transportation network of expressway, railway, aviation, sea transportation and inland river shipping. Nanyang International Airport, Yancheng Port Dafeng Port Area, Binhai Port Area, Sheyang Port Area and Xiangshui Port Area have become national first-class open ports. Yancheng City has become a prefecture-level city with both airport and seaport, and it is the intersection of national coastal development and Yangtze River Delta integration.
