Information risk consultation interview question and answer

Text/Li Wenyan Aviwei

Potential employers create vacant positions or find replacements for existing positions mainly because they have work to do or problems to solve. Therefore, in the interview, potential employers will definitely try their best to understand the candidate's problem-solving ability.

During the interview, the interviewer will ask some questions, such as "your most challenging work experience and the actions you took to solve the problem (or case)", trying to understand the applicant's ability in the following aspects:

1. Your ability to solve and analyze problems?

2. Your ability to work under pressure?

3. How do you deal with stress?

4. How do you deal with complicated situations?

Interviewers usually ask interview questions in different ways, such as:

& gt In your previous job, how did you handle the most challenging tasks?

& gt Describe the problems you faced at that time, and how to find a solution?

& gt Give an example: What effective/innovative solution did you use to solve the problem?

& gt What measures have you taken to predict risks and solve problems?

& gt How did you build the solution?

It can be seen that these questions are all about knowing your past work experience. The best way to answer these questions is to recall your real experience in my previous work, and then sort out the outline and give the answers. Your answer can refer to the following framework:

The most challenging task I have dealt with in the past is ...]. This is a challenge because [...]. In order to solve this problem, I [...].

Specifically, this answer can be composed of five parts:

1. Definition problem

Describe the problems in the working environment at that time. What makes it a problem? What does this question involve?

parsing problem

Share how you collect relevant data and information: The whole process is the process of extracting useful information from facts to the maximum extent.

Form a solution

Explain the considerations that form the solution and the final decision: How did you find the root of the problem? How to determine the possible cause of the problem? How did you form a variety of solutions?

4. Choose the best solution and action plan

Describe the actions you took: Why did you choose to take these actions? What results do you expect to achieve? Describe how you organize your ideas into the company's processes and daily management, and how you control the results. Don't forget the risk management factors, if any.

5. Lessons learned

What achievements have you made? What's going well? What did you learn from that experience?

With reference to this framework, your answer will not only be clear, focused, well-founded, causal and fruitful, but also have a summary.

& gt A clear definition of the problem is the key to solving the problem. For example, the sales of key customers fell by 30%?

& gt Only by analyzing the factors that affect the problem can we see the problem more clearly. Is the decline in key customer sales due to changes in the external market, competitors occupying higher market share and shrinking overall market scale, or internal technology, products, key customer service, sales representatives, sales advertisements, financial strategies or other reasons?

& gt sort out the important influencing factors and form a solution. After analysis, the main reason is that the service to key customers is not in place, and the financial strategy of 80% advance payment leads competitors to seize some market share. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of key customer service and set up a key customer service specialist. Sales find problems from themselves, strengthen customer contact, and track market changes in time. The financial strategy needs to be adjusted, try to set some flexibility, form a plan within 2 weeks, and then report it to the headquarters for approval.

& gt Choose the best solution, take action and sum up experience and lessons.

In daily work, as professionals, this method is often used to solve problems, which is also conducive to improving their ability to solve problems.
