/kloc-Ma Jie, a 0/4-year-old heroine crossing the river, was invited to attend founding ceremony, and Chairman Mao wanted to meet her.

On the morning of June 29th, 2002/KLOC-0, with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the ceremony of awarding the July 1st Medal was held in the Great Hall of the People. This is the first time in the history of our country that a medal has been awarded in the name of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which is the highest honor in the Party and is used to commend those outstanding party member in China. Their moral character is noble and they have made outstanding contributions to the revolution and construction of China.

The first meritorious service to present awards on stage was an old man. Because of physical reasons, she has been unable to stand up and walk on stage to receive the award, so she can only walk slowly on stage in a wheelchair with the help of the staff. She was a model representative who supported the front line during the War of Liberation, and was a national hero at that time. When she was fourteen, she took part in the battle of crossing the river. In the rain of bullets, she did not fear sacrifice, but still crossed the Yangtze River for six times and shipped the PLA ashore.

Sister Ma Mao is called Sister Ma by the people, an easy-to-understand name. Because she is the third in the family, she is called Sister Ma. 1935, Sanjie was born in Majiaba Village, Wuwei County, Anhui Province. Her family lives by fishing with her father. Her family is poor and has eight brothers and sisters. It is a typical fisherman's family. When her parents had a place to grow up, they took her to someone else's house and became a child bride when she was a child. Her husband's family was not friendly to her at all, and she was scolded when she was a child. It can be said that she suffered a lot when she was a child.

Back in 1949, the Kuomintang lost in the three major battles of Liaoshen, Huaihai and Ping Jin, and was beaten out of the water by the People's Liberation Army, so it had to retreat to the south of the Yangtze River. At that time, Chiang Kai-shek fantasized that he could rule across the Yangtze River with China's * * * production party as the boundary. We must speak with strength about Chiang Kai-shek's wishful thinking. At that time, the main force of the Kuomintang was almost consumed in the previous battles, and the rest were gathered to the south of the Yangtze River.

1in the spring of 949, the China People's Liberation Army decided to send troops south to launch a campaign to cross the river, annihilate the remaining Kuomintang troops in one fell swoop, and then make a final sprint to liberate Nanjing and Shanghai to realize national liberation. At this time, the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, led and commanded by General Chen Yi, has arrived in the Yangtze River basin one after another according to the previous orders, and millions of troops are ready for battle.

Since February, the People's Liberation Army has been moving around Wuwei County, Anhui Province. Every village along the river has the People's Liberation Army. Hundreds of thousands of PLA people stayed in this small place for some time. Ma Sanjie, the fisherman's daughter, and his eldest brother were very happy after hearing the news. Her home is in the village, near the river. People here have been fishing for generations. Ma Sanjie was born to swim and grew up on a boat. Her eldest brother was an underground party and worked in secret. Perhaps under the influence of her eldest brother, Ma began to collect information for the PLA at that time.

At that time, Wuwei County and its surrounding areas had just been liberated, and the people were looking forward to the liberation of the whole country and a stable and harmonious life. The people took an active part in the war of liberation. Some people helped the People's Liberation Army to repair bridges and roads, some stood guard, and some people transported food and wounded people. According to incomplete statistics, about100000 people participated in supporting the front line at that time. Sister Mamao, like everyone else, joined the fight. One night, the third sister and the third brother used a boat to carry some comrades of the People's Liberation Army in disguise and went to the river to inquire about the enemy. They sneaked the boat into the reeds, dealt with the enemy patrol, cleverly avoided the enemy's lighting, and moved unnoticed under the enemy's eyes.

In the preparation stage of the war, the PLA decided to requisition some villagers' fishing boats and prepare to cross the river. Sister Ma was the first to sign up, contributed her own fishing boat, and signed up for the training of commandos crossing the river with the People's Liberation Army. Sister Ma was only fourteen at that time. 1948 The Kuomintang was defeated, and many people were arrested from the north bank of the Yangtze River to build fortifications on the south bank of the Yangtze River. At that time, Ma Sanjie and her brother Ma were there. Later, my brother sneaked back from there with Ma Sanjie. It was this experience that made Ma Sanjie know more about the fortifications and terrain on the other side.

Before the battle of crossing the river, the PLA had been sitting in the nearby village to prepare for work. At that time, an announcement was posted to requisition some fishermen's fishing boats, and the villagers actively cooperated. The PLA has collected more than 200 ships, but most of the soldiers are northerners and have never studied water. Sister Ma and other villagers taught the PLA comrades to swim and row, while the PLA carefully taught them how to use guns and how to dress the wounded. Everyone learns quickly.

1940 On the afternoon of April 20th, all the soldiers crossing the river attended the swearing-in meeting. After dinner, they didn't rest as usual, but were ready to fight at any time. They ordered soldiers skilled in ships to form commandos to attack the south bank, including Ma Sanjie's and his brother's ships, and they also joined the commandos. Later, the PLA was ordered to board the ship. At this time, Ma Sanjie was also busy, pulling the boat and building a springboard for the People's Liberation Army. Someone suddenly noticed that this was a little girl. At that time, the People's Liberation Army did not agree to Third Sister's boarding, thinking that she was still a child.

But Third Sister is also a very stubborn person. On the surface, she agreed not to get on the boat. At the moment the ship set off, she quietly jumped on board and hid in the cabin. He didn't appear until she was sure that she had set off. When my brother found him, it was too late. When the ship sailed to the center, the water was rushing, and with the gunfire on the other side, it was soaked in the water and set off huge waves. The ship kept rocking. Ma Sanjie was not afraid of bullets, so she grabbed the paddle to help row, and the bullets shot at the speedboat. Ma Sanjie didn't flinch and rowed on.

The exchange of fire between the two sides is becoming more and more fierce. Two PLA commandos were blown up, and Ma Sanjie was shot in the left shoulder. She was bleeding, but she still didn't stop and continued to paddle painfully. It was her brother who reminded her that she was hurt. This is just a simple dressing. The assault fleet braved the bullets and broke the waves. At this time, the soldiers on board were surprised to find that a little girl was at the helm. Several ships that set out at the same time finally arrived near Jinjiadu on the south bank, and their ships landed under the bullets.

At that time, it was already April, and people were still very cold because of kawakaze. Ma Sanjie was still wearing cotton-padded clothes. She followed the first soldiers who arrived at the south bank of the Yangtze River and rushed to the enemy's position. The enemy hid in the bunker built in advance and clamored for them to shoot wildly, but they were suppressed. Because Ma Sanjie is familiar with the terrain and the specific location of some bunkers, she picked up a Grenade and threw it there, causing the enemy to trip over. The soldiers all threw in that direction and took the enemy's bunker in one breath.

Ma Sanjie then sailed back to the North Shore and continued to transport PLA soldiers. On the way, she also rescued more than a dozen PLA soldiers who were about to sink. At night, the river is ablaze. When Sister Ma transported PLA soldiers across the river for the second time, no one could stop her. She ran to the boat again and served as the helmsman. After that, she crossed the Yangtze River for several days and nights and sent PLA soldiers to the south bank. It has transported three batches of PLA soldiers. Later, Third Sister learned that the PLA ship sent by her and her brother at night was the first soldier to land on the south bank of the Yangtze River in the battle of crossing the river, and also became the first ship landed by commandos in the battle of crossing the river.

Millions of heroes gathered in Jianghuai and West Anhui on the north bank of the Yangtze River. This was the last great battle during the War of Liberation. This battle is related to the big question of whether the whole country can be liberated. When Chiang Kai-shek retreated to the south of the Yangtze River, he made perfect arrangements, bombed all bridges and roads, and a large number of boatmen were forced to the south bank by him. Chiang Kai-shek wanted to use the natural barrier of the Yangtze River to become an excellent barrier to rule across the river from the central government. At that time, a million troops were assembled on the north bank of the Yangtze River. According to the Kuomintang, it is impossible to cross the Yangtze River without a boat or a bridge.

After all, he thought that at that time, our army still had the most powerful secret weapon, that is, the broad masses of the people needed 400 million to 500 million yuan of food to ensure the number of troops at that time. At that time, our army was less than 200 million Jin, and with the support of the Central Committee and other regions, what should we do with the vacated grain? We can only borrow from people in Jianghuai and western Anhui. This is probably the first time in the history of our army to borrow so much food from the people. In the war years of hunger and cold, all the food saved by the people was sent to the front, and the goal of food preparation was overfulfilled in just a few days.

With food, we have to have firewood for cooking. People still think very carefully. Bundles of firewood were sent to the barracks. Some villagers even tore down their houses and solved one problem before solving the next one, that is, the boat that crossed the river before. Fishermen and boatmen along the river have come to give advice. Fishermen taught PLA soldiers how to build ships and selected more than 500 experienced sailors to teach them to row and swim.

What is even more surprising is that in less than three months, more than ten pontoons have been built on the river. With the joint efforts of the people and the People's Liberation Army, 2,500 wooden sailboats were completed. The success of this campaign really depends on the support of local people. Every step through Qian Shan, there are heroic footprints. They wrote the history of new China in blood.

After the battle, Ma didn't take the initiative to take credit, but later, the PLA kept looking for the girl who was fourteen years old at that time, and finally found her after searching in many ways. Many people's liberation army are still wondering how there was a little girl without her at that time. After finding Ma, the commendation certificate sent by the PLA from the army read "Miss Ma, the hero of crossing the river", thanking her for her heroic contribution in the battle of crossing the river and affirming her contribution. Later, he was awarded the first class merit in crossing the river.

At that time, after Sister Ma won the first class merit and the title of model, many newspapers reported her. At that time, a 14-year-old girl became a little hero spread all over the country. 1949, before founding ceremony, Chairman Mao specifically mentioned this little hero and said that she must be invited to founding ceremony to witness the success of the new China. For Ma Lai, it was an honor to remember in her life, but her parents at home did not approve of her trip, because she was still young, so Ma unfortunately missed founding ceremony.

To Ma's surprise, Chairman Mao has been thinking about her for two years. 195 1 On the eve of National Day, I received an invitation from Ma to invite her to Beijing. This time, she finally didn't miss it. At this time, Third Sister 16 years old, accompanied by other comrades of Anhui delegation, made her family feel at ease. On National Day, nuns and other representatives watched the National Day celebration in Tiananmen Square. Interestingly, she is so small that she can only see clearly on tiptoe.

After attending the military parade, a few days later, Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou personally met her and asked him to sit next to Chairman Mao. At that time, Premier Zhou Enlai told Chairman Mao that this is the little hero you invited. Chairman Mao asked him what his name was, and Ma Sanjie said lovingly, Ma has no name, and everyone calls me Ma Sanjie. Some leaders even joked that it turned out to be an unknown little hero, and the name Sister Ma Mao was given by Chairman Mao at that time.

The next day, Ma Sangu was invited to visit Chairman Mao's house. Chairman Mao kept picking vegetables for Third Sister, telling her not to mention it and caring about her literacy. And Chairman Mao's two daughters, CoCo Lee and Li Ne, are about the same age as Third Sister. Chairman Mao also asked Third Sister if she wanted to study in Beijing. Third sister bluntly said that she was homesick, and her hometown solved the problem of going to school for her. Chairman Mao praised her for her independent thinking.

There is a great temperature difference in autumn in Beijing. Chairman Mao saw that Third Sister's clothes were very thin, so he asked the staff to make her a new dress and gave her a lot of school supplies. Chairman Mao wrote in a notebook, Sister Ma Mao, study hard and make progress every day. Also tell her that you are great at an early age, but you can't be proud. You should study hard and make more contributions to building a new China.

In the following years, Sister Mamao kept a low profile in her hometown. Since I declined the suggestion of going to college in Beijing, I will study hard in my hometown. With that clever energy, she graduated from middle school. Since then, she has become an ordinary worker in Hefei, working in garment factories, linen spinning factories, knitting factories and so on.

In the later work, Ma Sisters were selected as model workers for many times. After retirement, she was not idle. Instead, she has been doing public welfare and telling the historical story of the party. In 2005, during an outing, she fainted unexpectedly and was diagnosed with a cerebral infarction after being sent to the hospital. Instead of falling down, she continued to fight the disease. Until this time, her mental state is still quite good, and she still remembers many things in the past.
