2. After pressing the power button, there is no picture on the screen, and the power indicator is on? → Please refer to Solution 2.
The key point to judge whether the machine can be turned on is the power indicator light (in the red box below).
1.? Solution 1: (power indicator goes out)
The power indicator light is not on, which may be that the transformer can't supply power or the main components are abnormal and can't be connected.
A please use the original transformer and power cord with correct specifications.
B please confirm the transformer connector, as shown in the figure below, whether the power cord end/socket end/computer end is loose, or try to replace the socket.
Reminder: Different models of laptop transformers may have different styles. Please refer to the instructions in the user manual.
C. Please check whether the transformer wire is damaged. If it is damaged, please replace the transformer for testing.
D please remove all external devices, including USB/ memory card/network cable /HDMI, etc.
E. Did you expand the hard disk or memory before the problem occurred? If necessary, first restore it to the factory default state.
F please remove the battery of the laptop and use the transformer to supply power directly.
※ Note: Some models may not be able to take out the battery, please skip this step (f). Figure C below shows the removable battery module.
G. remove the transformer, and then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds (press and hold) for CMOS reset.
H After connecting the transformer and battery (if your computer is a detachable battery module), press the power button to confirm whether it can be started normally.
2.? Solution 2: (The power indicator is on)
The power indicator light is on, indicating that the motherboard has too much power, but it may also be because of some equipment.
A. Please try using shortcut keys (hotkeys)? [Fn+F7] Turn on/off the screen display, and confirm whether there is no screen due to closing.
※ Note: Some models may have different shortcut key (hotkey) combinations, please refer to the user manual.
B. Please try using shortcut keys (hotkeys)? [Fn+F6] Brighten the screen brightness to ensure that the screen brightness will not be too dark to cause no picture.
C. Please try to connect your laptop to an external monitor and use a shortcut key (hotkey)? [Fn+F8] Switch the display mode and confirm whether the external monitor can display normally.
If you don't have an external monitor or the external monitor has no screen, please skip this step (c).
If the external monitor screen is normal, please try to download the driver for installing the display adapter from ASUS official website to learn how to search and download the driver.
※ Note: Some models have two display cards (commonly known as internal display and external display, such as Intel &;; NVIDIA), which can be viewed in Device Manager. Please confirm that they are updated to the latest version released by ASUS official website.
D please remove all external devices, including USB/ memory card/network cable /HDMI, etc.
