architectural design
design concept
Xiangyang East Station is magnificent, with the theme of "Longkui Wen" in Han Dynasty, which means "the hometown of Wolong". The whole building of Xiangyang East Station evolved from the traditional I-shaped plane, and combined with the overall streamlined shape of the station building, it created the architectural intention of "one river and two banks", which is very distinctive.
Outline the outline with a wide integral cornice, form a "gray space" to shelter from the wind and rain, create a towering atmosphere, magnificent and complete architectural image, and naturally set off the design concept of "Xiangyang Gate". The lighting roof in the middle of the station building pours down, and extends with the canopy at the main entrance in one go, and naturally intersects with the arc bodies on both sides, forming the outline of the traditional big roof in China, which is a modern expression of this ancient city with profound historical and cultural heritage.
