(1) Before the license of CAAC is converted overseas, the first thing to be clear is:
1) Please note that this country has established diplomatic relations with China and belongs to ICAO.
2) You got a formal license instead of a temporary license. If you want to check the safety audit information of the country where the license is located, any one of them must be higher than the world average. Then apply for a license confirmation letter (valid for 6 months).

3) Pass the license theory examination organized by CAAC.
The theoretical examination corresponds to the applied driver's license. The regional administrations of civil aviation basically arrange theoretical examinations every month, and the specific question bank can be compiled with reference to the theoretical examination question bank to strengthen learning.
Passing marks in the theoretical examination: 80 points for private photos, 80 points for business photos, 80 points for instruments and 70 points for airlines.
Note: You need a 2-inch photo with a blue background for the exam. After the exam, the results will be announced on the spot. Please keep your report card properly. If you fail, you can make up the exam after 28 days. The theoretical examination results are valid for two years.
4) Carry out physical examination and obtain the physical examination certificate corresponding to the license.
Carry out physical examination in a domestic medical examination institution recognized by the Civil Aviation Administration, and obtain a Class I domestic medical examination certificate required by the driver's license, valid for one year.
(2) For overseas license conversion, the following documents shall be prepared at the China License Office:
1) civil aircraft pilot license and grade application form
2) Copy of valid ID (submit the original)
3) A complete copy of the current valid foreign or Hong Kong and Macao driver's license (the original is submitted for inspection)
4) Original and photocopy of the confirmation letter from Fei Biao Civil Aviation Administration.

8) Original and photocopy of certificate of theoretical examination.

(3) supplementary training before the exam
Because the flight practice test is conducted in China, there are some differences between domestic and foreign regulations, and the aircraft and operating environment used in the domestic test are also different from those trained abroad. Therefore, foreign flight learners must change their licenses after returning home. On the one hand, they must make up for the flying experience required by domestic regulations but not required abroad. On the other hand, in order to successfully pass the practical examination, they usually need to carry out supplementary training before the examination in qualified aviation schools in China, and the specific training time depends on their actual technical mastery.
Supplementary training for changing foreign business license to China business license (aircraft): When changing foreign business license to China business license, due to the differences between business license requirements of some countries and those of China, it is necessary to complete the difference training and meet the requirements of CCAR-6 1 on aircraft business license experience before applying for renewal of China license. It usually takes 5 hours of stunts and 6-8 hours of differentiated training to get a replacement card from abroad.
(4) Practical examination
Before practicing the exam, you must have a Chinese flight record book, which is used to record the filling time of supplementary and differential training before the exam, the time when the teacher signed the recommendation page of the flight practice exam, and the time when the practice exam and the examiner signed the flight inspection record page. Practical examination is divided into oral examination and actual operation of simulator. After the approval, all the above materials will be submitted to the regional administration to issue temporary licenses and obtain the information of cloud licenses, and then the official licenses can be reissued.
