As we all know, the higher the status before life in ancient times, the larger the specifications of tombs after death, and the more precious the funerary objects are. Today, I want to share with you the ancient tomb known as "the most local tyrant". Even the nails on the coffin are made of gold and silver, which shows its luxury.

2065438+In July, 2004, the government of Xinpu District of Zunyi City prepared to build a new reservoir. After the nearby villagers moved away, archaeologists made an archaeological investigation in the local area. Why check it? Because several tombs of the Yang family of Bozhou Tusi have been found here before, in order to avoid destroying the tombs and cultural relics, experts only made an investigation. Sure enough, the experts found an ancient tomb. It is understood that this tomb is the ninth Tusi cemetery in Bozhou and the only pit tomb.

Subsequently, experts conducted a rescue excavation of the ancient tomb. When the ancient tomb was opened, experts were shocked, because it was one of the few wooden tombs with high specifications. The pit tomb is divided into two rooms, left and right. It is a tomb buried with men on the left and women on the right. More than 80 national treasures were unearthed in this tomb. They are exquisite in shape and fine in workmanship, mainly jade and gold and silver utensils. Among them, there are more than 40 gold and silver vessels such as golden plum bottles, gold spoons and gold sheaths. Some cultural relics appear for the first time and are of great value. Even the nails on the coffin are made of gold and silver. Therefore, the specifications are so high and the funerary objects are so luxurious. Who is its owner?

In this regard, experts have conducted research. Through the epitaph and access to historical books, the identity of the tomb owner surfaced. It turns out that this is the burial tomb of Yang Jia, the fourteenth toast of Bozhou, with a history of 759 years. Yang Jia, the Tusi of Bozhou in Southern Song Dynasty, was a rare talent who was eager to learn and write. At that time, due to the cowardice of the Southern Song Dynasty, Mongolian troops often invaded the south. He led Bozhou soldiers to actively resist the invaders and protect the safety of one side of the people. The Yang family often sent troops to surprise the Mongolian army and caught the enemy off guard.

In the second year of Song Lizong Duanping, Mongolian Prince Kuo Duan led the Mongolian army to attack Sichuan, and Song Jun was besieged in Julia. Bozhou is bordered by Sichuan, and its lips are dead and its teeth are cold. If Sichuan falls, it will be harmful to Bozhou. In order to understand the siege of Sichuan, Yang Jia personally led 5,000 elite soldiers to Sichuan to support Song Jun. Because of their participation in the war, they quickly defeated the Mongolian army in Kuo Duan. Later, he led the troops stationed between Chongqing and Luzhou and sent troops to surprise the Mongolian army. Two years later, Yang Jia led more than 10,000 soldiers to stay on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Sichuan to support Sichuan. The Mongolian army is very afraid of this warrior Bozhou Tusi, so it dare not attack easily. Then, the Yang family sent generals to successfully prevent the Mongolian army from crossing the river to attack eastern Sichuan. Since then, it has enjoyed great prestige in the western Sichuan area, which has made the Mongolian army fearful.

After Yang Jia's death, his son Yang inherited his chieftain status and his father's legacy, and actively supported the Southern Song Dynasty court in fighting against the Mongolian army. Bozhou, under the leadership of the Yang people, reached the peak of prosperity in the Southern Song Dynasty, especially when Yang charm-san and Yang Jiahe were the leaders, which was called "Bozhou flourishing age" in history.

Fortunately, the graves of Yang Jia and his wife were not visited by grave robbers. The discovery of this tomb is of great significance for historians to study the history of Bozhou, the history of Yang Tusi and the funeral system and customs.
