Changtai Expressway is 32 kilometers long (excluding Changtai Yangtze River Bridge), of which Changzhou section is 9.6 kilometers long.

The project starts from Taixing East Hub at the intersection of Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, goes south through the east side of Zhang Qiao Town in Taixing City, passes through Hongqiao Industrial Zone, and then connects with Changtai Yangtze River Bridge. After crossing the Yangtze River, it goes south, passes through the west of Weicun Street in Xinbei District of Changzhou City, and ends at Chunjiang Hub of Jiang Yi Expressway after crossing Desheng River.

The construction of Changtai Expressway is of great significance for Changzhou to further improve the traffic network system, enhance the traffic location advantage and build the "Yangtze River Delta Central Axis Hub"!
During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, Changzhou's transportation development will give full play to its geographical advantages of "one point in the center, two belts connected and criss-crossing" and build the Yangtze River Delta transportation axis with high standards.

In the future, Changzhou will also implement 55 projects in five categories with a total investment of 654.38+45 million.

Five rail transit lines will be built: Changzhou section of intercity railway along Nanhe River, Changtai Railway, south extension of Lian Zhen Railway, Yantai-Wuxi-Changyi Railway and Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou intercity railway.
To build a high-grade highway with circular radiation: to build a "three-ring 19-shot" expressway network and a "four-ring 2 1 shot" expressway network.
Accelerate the renovation and expansion of Changzhou Airport Terminal, build Niu Ben Railway Freight Logistics Base, promote the renovation and upgrading of New Yangtze River Wharf, Donggang Canal Container Yard Project, Licheng West Operation Area Wharf Project, and build Changzhou Airport Bonded Warehouse and International Express Supervision Center.
