Why is it called "job-hopping" to change work units or occupations?
In the past, this was a very ugly word, which came from an allusion: Cao Pi, the second son of Cao Cao, proclaimed himself emperor in the Han Dynasty after the death of Lao Cao, and became the founder of Wei State in the Three Kingdoms period, and reigned in 220-226 AD. After Zhen, the first wife was abused by the second wife, not only deposed by Cao Pi, but also executed. Before he died, Zhen wrote a poem "Xing", condemning Cao Pi's behavior of finding new love and abandoning old love. Yang Sheng 'an in the Ming Dynasty read this poem "Shangtang" and commented: In the Yuan Dynasty, Cao Pi's behavior was called "job-hopping" in the legendary novels of the Yuan Dynasty, so "job-hopping" became a folk saying that men and women were things. That is to say, it describes the behavior of rich children who liked the new and hated the old at that time. Later generations gradually evolved into the word now, meaning job-hopping.
