Wuhan Railway Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college with railway characteristics sponsored by Hubei provincial government, and it is also a national model higher vocational college.
The college was established in 1956. The people of China and the Ministry of Railways established the Wuhan Railway Transportation School of the Ministry of Railways in Wuhan, and was upgraded to Wuhan Railway Institute on June 1960.
