Rongwei Expressway Ronglai Expressway

On May 4, 2005 12-14, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission organized experts, Weihai and Yantai municipal governments, development and reform, transportation, highways and other relevant departments to hold a review meeting on the research report of Rongcheng-Laiyang Expressway route scheme in Rongcheng City. On the basis of on-the-spot investigation and listening to the report, the experts evaluated and demonstrated the route plan, and finally passed the route plan research report. This indicates that the preliminary work of Rongcheng-Laiyang Expressway project has basically ended, and the project approval will be fully launched.

Rongcheng-Laiyang Expressway passes through Rongcheng, Wendeng, Rushan, Haiyang, Laiyang and other cities. It is an important part of Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration and Jiaodong Peninsula manufacturing base. About half of the expressways between Rongcheng and Laiyang are third-class highways, which has formed a bottleneck for the rapid economic development and traffic growth between regions. The proposed Rongcheng-Laiyang Expressway is a part of Ronglan Expressway of National Highway 309 and an important part of the main framework of Shandong highway network. The total length of the highway is167.4km, which will be implemented in two phases. The first phase of the project starts from Laoshan Mountain in Rongcheng City and ends in Wenchang, Wendeng, with a total length of 52.2 kilometers. The new two-way four-lane expressway has a total investment of 65.438+0.65 billion yuan, and the average cost per kilometer is 3.65438+0.00 million yuan. It is initially planned to start construction in 2006, with a construction period of 3 years. The existing national highway 309 (first-class highway standard) is fully utilized in the back section of Nanchanglan-Rushan cliff, and the national highway 309 in the back section of Laiyang cliff is rebuilt first.

The construction of Rongcheng-Laiyang Expressway will greatly promote the formation of the main framework of Shandong highway network, improve and optimize the regional road network layout, strengthen the economic ties between Jiaodong Peninsula and inland areas, accelerate the construction of Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration and Jiaodong Peninsula manufacturing base, and provide fast, safe and economical traffic conditions for Weihai's westward advancement. In the next step, the design unit will step up the project design work, and at the same time conduct land pre-examination, environmental protection assessment and earthquake assessment simultaneously. July 27th, 2009 (,Liu) On July 23rd and 24th, the Highway Bureau of the Provincial Communications Department entrusted China Highway Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. to investigate the Wendeng-Laiyang Expressway project in our city.

On 23rd, in order to provide accurate and reliable data for compiling the feasibility report of this project, Laiyang Highway Bureau organized more than 20 staff members to conduct 10 12-hour OD survey and 24-hour uninterrupted traffic survey on National Highway 309 (Laiyang boundary).

On the 24th, a symposium on the feasibility study route scheme of Wendeng-Laiyang Expressway was held. China Highway Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., Liu, chief economist of Yantai Highway Bureau, Li Kaixun, chief of planning department, Bao Xinyong, deputy mayor in charge of Laiyang City, and 6 persons in charge of highways, planning, land and towns along the route attended the meeting. At the meeting, two route design schemes for the feasibility study of the project were introduced, the opinions of Laiyang municipal government and relevant departments were listened to, and the project site was surveyed on the spot. The implementation of this project is of great significance to improve and optimize the road network layout and promote the economic and social development along the route.
