University of Toronto application conditions for studying abroad

Admission by ordinary means:

Requirements for undergraduate application of international students: (the actual admission varies according to different majors)

1. Language performance requirements:

IELTS: Academic module, with a total score of not less than 6.5 and a single item of not less than 6.

TOEFL: the total score of IBT is not less than 100, the total score of writing is not less than 22, the total score of PBT is not less than 600, and the written expression is not less than 5.0.

2. Application materials:

(1) University of Toronto International Student Application Form;

(2) TOEFL/IELTS scores;

(3) high school transcripts, high school diplomas/high school attendance certificates, and test scores.

(4)SAT, ACT, college entrance examination or A-level scores.

(5) Letter of recommendation+personal statement;

(6) proof of funds;

(7) Some departments will limit the time for composing and recording music;

Requirements for postgraduate application of international students:

Language requirements

TOEFL: no less than 79 for the online test, 2 1 for writing, 0/8 for speaking, 0/3 for reading and 0/3 for listening;

IELTS is not less than 7.0, and the single subject is not less than 6.5.

Educational requirements

Complete a four-year bachelor's degree.

The average score is over 75%.

"green channel" admission:

The green channel independent enrollment project originated from the University of Toronto's Garburg campus. 15 years later, the Green Channel Self-enrollment Project has delivered a batch of outstanding students from China to the University of Toronto.

Before 20 18, students can only enter the garbo campus of the university of Toronto for undergraduate academic study through the green channel project.

Starting from 20 18, students can enter the Garbo Campus and St. George Campus of the University of Toronto (applied science and engineering, architecture, motor function and physical education) through the green channel independent entrance examination of the University of Toronto. So far, the green channel project has basically covered all majors in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, the College of Architecture and the College of Physical Education of the University of Toronto.

Admission requirements:

Students must pass the green channel independent entrance examination of the University of Toronto, China;

Must submit the real name recommendation letter of the school principal;

Have a general high school education in China, and all high school scores are not less than 85 points (90~95 in some disciplines). In case of academic fraud in students' grades, the school has the right to revoke students' admission qualifications at any time;

Apply for all majors in St. George's campus, as well as management and trade majors in scarborough campus, and the international development major needs a second round of testing;

After the Green Channel English training program, students must get at least a "B" in their academic performance before they can pass the language program (otherwise, the entrance qualification of St. George's campus will be cancelled).
