However, this primary school is a college of literature and art-folk flower art troupe, and we have more opportunities to give full play to our specialties in this respect.
It is precisely because of various objective factors that children here can't be exposed to the necessary knowledge of these modern people like children in the city, so they urgently need people who can open their eyes and hearts.
As a college student, I have the obligation to undertake this obligation. First, our college students have received higher education, high quality and broad vision, and have the ability to undertake this obligation. Second, our college students come from different places, have experienced different lives, and have a comprehensive and objective understanding of this colorful world. They can guide primary and middle school students in remote mountainous areas to know the world more vividly, broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge.
Second, self-experience
Teaching is not only a process of giving, but also a process of gaining for us college students who have lived in the "ivory tower" and "excellent paradise" for a long time.
Most of our current college students have never suffered anything, especially those from the city. They have been spoiled since childhood and have never experienced the tempering of life. In universities, there are a large number of students with high scores and low abilities. They have hardly left their parents in junior and senior high schools, so they lack the ability to live independently. This requires us to go out of the ivory tower and enter the society to experience and forge.
As an integral part of university education, college students' social practice activities not only have social functions, but also have experience for college students. Teaching does not mean that it is enough to climb the five-foot platform, but that you have to travel across mountains and rivers and visit home everywhere. Contact not only with children, but also with their families and parents. This is a challenge and exercise for our college students' physical strength, endurance, perseverance, social skills and ability to deal with emergencies.
In addition, students' activities together are also quite meaningful to enhance one's team consciousness. Team consciousness is very important for modern people's life. Some enterprises compare team consciousness to the "lifeline" of enterprises. When the team is aware, the enterprise will gradually succeed, otherwise, the enterprise will face the danger of death. For college students who are about to enter the society and enterprises, team consciousness needs to be improved urgently! Teaching provides such a platform for our college students to exercise. Through teaching, students discuss teaching methods together and visit their parents together. These experiences are of great significance to college students who have not left school. This will also be an unforgettable experience in their lives.
1, we should set an example and be role models for our children from an early age. College students' dress, words and deeds should be highly valued. Because, we go down to be teachers. What we wear, what we say and do will leave a deep impression on our children and set an example for them unconsciously. Therefore, we should face them and get along with them in a healthy, youthful, civilized, polite and refined spirit.
2. Give priority to life knowledge, supplemented by textbook knowledge. This is decided by our short teaching time. What can we do in such a short time? What can we do at most? This is a problem that we have to think about. In our activities, there are also differences: some students say that they should give their children more new lessons, and some students say that they should review what they have not learned well before. In my opinion, neither taking new lessons nor reviewing old knowledge is the most important thing. Imagine how much we can tell them in such a short time, even if we don't have to tell them the knowledge in these books for 24 hours. How much can they accept? It is impossible to change a person's knowledge structure in a short time. But it is not impossible to change a person's ideological understanding!
The children's world is as white as a piece of paper, especially the children of migrant workers. Their world is spotless. Then, the first stroke on this piece of paper has a great influence on their lives. In other words, enlightenment education is very important for a person's life. Broadly speaking, the whole primary school stage is the stage of children's enlightenment education. Therefore, don't ignore the influence of our short teaching activities on children every day. Because it is unconventional education and novel, children will be interested. Because it is short and special, children will remember it vividly. During this period, you told a story about a celebrity's learning struggle, which may be remembered for a lifetime. A model of Chinese virtue you talked about in this period may be remembered by him all his life.
Therefore, in teaching, we should focus on guiding students' thoughts. Guide them to have a correct outlook on life and a correct world outlook. We should correct their attitude towards learning and guide them from passive learning to active learning. In my opinion, to do this, it is not enough for you to simply tell them how many exercises, how many ancient poems to analyze and how many English words to teach! It can't create the maximum value and real value of 40 minutes.
3, entertaining and establishing interactive teaching methods.
Now we advocate interactive teaching methods. It has changed the previous "spoon-feeding" teaching form and adopted a more humane and scientific way of "the teacher walks off the platform to give lectures". This teaching method can shorten the distance between teachers and students and improve students' interest and enthusiasm in learning. However, the popularization of this teaching method in rural primary schools is not optimistic. The "short time" for college students to teach determines that we should adopt more novel methods to carry out our work, because we must make children accept us in a short time. So this time we adopted such an interactive teaching method and made some innovations on this basis.
The first innovation is the change of address. We ask the children to call us "brother" and "sister". For example, Xiaomei, Xiaoli, Wen Chao, Xiaoyan, Ling who teaches recitation, and so on. The effect of address change is obvious. The children soon got rid of their strangeness to us and became one with us.
The second innovation is that we really got off the platform. You may have seen physical education class outside the classroom, but you haven't seen Chinese or English classes outside the classroom, have you? This time, we boldly tried such a teaching method-moving recitation counseling out of the classroom. Not only that, we also combine it with games, stories and cards. This attempt has also achieved unexpected results. On the one hand, it has narrowed the distance between children and us, on the other hand, it has quickly improved their interest and enthusiasm for learning.
4. Give priority to rewards, supplemented by criticism, and improve children's learning enthusiasm.
Generally speaking, children are rebellious. If you criticize him, he will be more rebellious, but if you praise him, he will do better. According to this ideological characteristic of children, we have formulated another important principle during this teaching period: giving priority to rewards, supplemented by criticism, and improving children's learning enthusiasm.
In fact, in the usual teaching process, we seldom criticize them, or even criticize them at all. But we always find reasons to praise them, and we usually put forward their mistakes euphemistically after praise. The purpose of doing this is to hope that they regard correcting their mistakes as a necessity to improve themselves, not to correct themselves.
In addition, this time we also prepared a wealth of small gifts for children, in addition to exercise books, pencils, pencil cases, pencil sharpeners and other daily stationery, as well as table tennis bats, teacups, small toys and other entertainment supplies. We reward these gifts to them in the usual teaching process. An important principle of awarding prizes is to ensure that everyone can win prizes, but each student has different reasons for winning prizes, and we reward them according to their different highlights.
Facts have proved that children are more active in answering questions and cooperating with our teaching work after winning the prize. Although there are some disadvantages in this way, for example, students who have not won the prize for the time being feel very depressed, and students who have won the prize are not as wronged as others, so they ask us why. But it also reflects that our approach is correct, that is, praise and reward have far greater influence on children than criticism and punishment!
As mentioned above, children need someone to open the windows of their eyes and hearts, and we college students are duty-bound to undertake this mission.
