Business in my hometown
To talk about Huangdao's business, we must start with 1978. I just turned one year old that year, and the spring breeze of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party spread all over the motherland. However, Huangdao is still a small fishing village that has just been electrified. Reform and opening up seems to be a distant thing for Huangdao. Farmers and fishermen living in several scattered natural villages on the island are eagerly looking forward to the early arrival of the tide of reform and opening up. At that time, it was our children's biggest dream to drink milk powder, but at that time, Huangdao Supply and Marketing Cooperative, the only state-owned "business department" in Huangdao, couldn't get milk powder. I never drank milk powder since I was a child. This business situation continued until the early 1980s, when 1984 Qingdao Development Zone was established, and the monopoly position of supply and marketing cooperatives in Huangdao business gradually changed.
From 65438 to 0984, Qingdao became one of the first coastal open cities in China, and Huangdao was allowed to establish a national economic and technological development zone, which brought unprecedented development opportunities to my hometown. After some intense preparation, Huangdao began to tell the story of spring.
At the beginning of the construction of the zone, there were only two forms of consumption industry in the development zone: state-owned and collective, so there was little room for market choice and material life was quite scarce. I remember I went to school at the age of eight and needed a schoolbag. As a result, I visited several stores in the development zone, but none of them. Later, my father went to Qingdao on business and bought me a backpack. Ten years later, about 1996, the development zone had its first joint-stock commercial enterprise-Development Zone Domestic Commercial Building. This year, I was admitted to a university in the south.
When I was studying in the south, I often went to suguo supermarket to buy daily necessities. This is the largest supermarket retail enterprise in Jiangsu province, and many goods there have become my first time: the first time I saw it, the first time I bought it and the first time I used it. Even the supermarket, a self-service purchase method, is the first time for me. There was no supermarket in my hometown at that time. However, the business in my hometown has developed rapidly during the period when I left school, and I can obviously feel the changes when I come back every year. 1997 Liqun Changjiang Commercial Building opened, which promoted the commercial development of Xiangjiang Road. 1998 There are many shopping places such as Baililai Commercial Building and Haibin Supermarket on Xiangjiang Road, and the traffic of Xiangjiang passers-by is gradually increasing. However, the biggest change in the business development of the development zone is after I joined the work.
In 2000, I just joined the work for one year, and my salary was 1024 yuan per month. At that time, with the rapid economic development in the development zone, people's lives have been greatly improved, and people who shop in the supermarket on the first floor of Liqun Changjiang Commercial Building are jostling with each other every day. At 200 1, Hualian Jia Jiayuan Shopping Center on Changjiang Road opened, and Changjiang Road began to become prosperous. Especially in 2005, after the establishment of the first Sino-foreign joint venture, Jiashike Shopping Plaza on Changjiang Road, the development zone gradually formed the commercial pattern of two commercial streets, namely Changjiang Road and Xiangjiang Road. Later, ruitai Shopping Plaza was built on Changjiang Road, and Liqun Changjiang Shopping Plaza was built on Xiangjiang Road. This business model has become more and more prominent, and the commerce in the development zone has developed unprecedentedly.
Driven by domestic products, the Yangtze River Commercial Building, Jia Jiayuan, Jiashike, ruitai Shopping Plaza, Yangtze River Shopping Plaza, supermarkets and commercial markets in the development zone have blossomed everywhere. According to statistics, the sales of six commercial backbone enterprises account for about 25% of the total consumption market in the development zone.
Today's development zone has really changed: there are many shopping malls on the street, and the dazzling array of goods in the shopping malls is dazzling. It can be said that only the unexpected, nothing can not be bought; Children will not be short of milk powder again. There are many kinds of infant milk powder in the supermarket, and there are countless brands, both imported and domestic. Young mothers are very picky. Children who should go to school will not be without schoolbags. They can hold their mother's hand and choose their favorite schoolbags and stationery in any shopping mall. People's lives have improved qualitatively. Take me personally. After working for ten years, my salary has increased several times.
The traffic in my hometown
When it comes to the traffic in the development zone, we can't help but mention the story between Qingdao and Huangdao. Old Huangdao people should still remember that the cargo ship carrying coal from Huangdao Power Plant to and from Qingdao was once a water vehicle between Qingdao and Huangdao, carrying Huangdao people's dreams to Qingdao. In the past, there was only one waterway between Huangdao and Qingdao. People often travel between Qingdao and the Yellow Sea by fishing boats. Some people get up at four o'clock in the morning to catch the cargo ship carrying coal from the power plant to Qingdao. This situation was not changed until there was a ferry in 199 1 development zone. In the next ten years, the passage between Qinghai and the Yellow Sea was completely opened: 1995, the development zone had the expressway of the Green Sea and the Yellow Sea, which was the first land traffic line between Qingdao and Huangdao; 1997, there are high-speed passenger ships in the development zone, which shortens the time from Huangdao to Qingdao to 15 minutes; At 200 1, the An Zi Wharf of Xuejiadao opened a tourist liner, and there was another water route between the Development Zone and Qingdao. In 2007, Qinghai Huanghai Bridge and subsea tunnel started construction one after another, and Huangdao people's dream of crossing the sea is about to come true. It is said that it takes only five minutes to drive to Qingdao after the completion of the cross-harbour tunnel. The sea and land transportation lines extending in all directions have narrowed the distance between Huangdao and Qingdao, making it convenient for people to travel back and forth between Huangqing and Huangqing.
The development of interregional traffic in the development zone is far more than that. In recent years, with the opening of expressway, Tongshan Line, Qinghong Line, Qing Ji expressway and Jiaohuang Railway around Jiaozhou Bay, the development zone is gradually forming a relatively perfect interregional three-dimensional transportation system.
At the same time, the traffic in the development zone has also developed rapidly in the past decade. Since 2000, the Development Zone has successively widened and reconstructed Jiangshan Road, Changjiang Road, Qianwangang Road, Jialingjiang Road and huanghe road, reconstructed the image of Xiangjiang Road and Jiangshan Road, successively built Jialingjiang Road Overpass, Xinjiekou Overpass, Songshan Tunnel and Binhai Avenue, and implemented the "asphalt road for every village" project in rural areas. After several years of construction, the modern transportation system in the development zone has begun to take shape.
Careful friends will find that in the past two years, the traffic volume on the development zone road has increased significantly. According to the rough calculation of the district traffic police department, more than 70% are private cars. I remember that in 2000, a colleague from Qingdao came to the Development Zone to do business. He once told me that driving on Jiangshan Road in the Development Zone was a very enjoyable thing, which was even better than driving on expressway. There are few good cars on the road in the development zone, and you can run to 120 mph as soon as you step on the gas pedal, which feels like flying. Nowadays, it is unrealistic to experience this feeling of "flying" again on the wide Jiangshan road. Someone has done such an experiment. During the rush hour, as many as 50 cars pass by Jiangshan Road in one minute. At present, there are many traffic jams in the development zone, especially during rush hours. Once, when I was driving through the intersection of Jinggangshan Road and Changjiang Road, I waited for three red lights.
In fact, what I can feel and understand about the development of trade and transportation in the development zone is only a fragment of the development achievements since the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the development zone. Over the past 23 years, the development zone has made achievements in economy, tourism, education, culture, health, urban construction and other aspects for three days and nights. I can only choose one or two simple narratives to express my love for my hometown and gratitude for reform and opening up.

As a young cadre in the computer field, I will continue to absorb the nutrition of reform and opening up in my work and life and make contributions to my hometown. On May 12, 2008, a rare earthquake occurred in Sichuan Province. After the disaster, party member and I donated money and materials to the disaster area many times to help the people in the disaster area tide over the difficulties and rebuild their homes as soon as possible. Recently, in the face of the sudden Enteromorpha disaster along the coast of Qingdao, Qi Xin, the son of Qingdao, launched a nationwide Enteromorpha "war of annihilation" in order to defend the Olympic sailing competition. I also actively participated in the action against Enteromorpha disaster and made my own contribution to protecting the beautiful scenery of my hometown. As the editor of the government website of the district government, I fought side by side with my comrades, adhered to the principle of giving priority to positive publicity, focused on the work of the Administrative Committee of the Working Committee, accepted the supervision of public opinion, and actively promoted the good image of our district.
