History of Shaoxing Gong Jianzhong School

Luo Siwei, chairman of the school board, and Wang Qixin, president, raised funds to innovate school affairs and set up more senior middle schools, making the restored Yueguang Middle School one of the three complete middle schools in Shaoxing at that time.

1949 In May, Shaoxing was liberated, and the newly established Shaoxing People's Government changed Yueguang Middle School from a church-run school to a social school, and subsidized the school-running funds.

1952 65438+In February, the people's government officially took over Yueguang Middle School and renamed it Shaoxing No.3 Junior High School.

1953, the high school was closed, changed to Shaoxing County No.3 junior high school, and designated as the county-level key junior high school. In order to strengthen the Party's leadership over education, the school Party Department and Shaoxing No.2 Junior Middle School Federation were established in 1957, and the school party branch was established separately in 1958. 1966 before the cultural revolution, the school had 18 classes.

From 65438 to 0975, the school that persisted in its work during the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution gradually developed into a complete middle school and was renamed Shaoxing No.5 Middle School.

1983, the school was renamed "Shaoxing No.5 Middle School" again.

65438-0996 Shaoxing Gong Jianzhong School is a nine-year compulsory education school founded by Shaoxing Education Bureau. In 2002, Shaoxing Gong Jianzhong Primary School was merged into Shaoxing Tashan Central Primary School.
